When it's time for souls to meet, there's nothing on earth that can prevent them from meeting, no matter where each maybe located.

"Okay. That guy was tad weird. Urgh, anyway. Let's go find the office." Nandini murmured to herself, in wonder. Being a fresher, she needed to complete some formalities in the office. She saw a girl near by and stopped to ask her for directions. "Excuse me. Can you help me to find the office?"

The girl was wearing a simple kurti with her mane tied into a beautiful plait. She looked like an excited Kid, visiting a fair. "Hello! Hum Navya Naveli, Patna se. Humara bhi first day hain. Kya hum tumhare saath chal sakte hain kya? Voh kya hain na humko bhi thoda kaam tha."

Nandini happily agreed as she was alone and was in dire need of a company. "Hi! I'm Nandini Murthy. And why not? I guess meri first friend ban bhi gayi. So cool! She said childishly making Navya smile. With the help of some seniors they found the office and got their remaining formalities done. They were officially, a complete part of the esteemed college.

"Hume bhook lagi hain. Canteen chale? Naya asked. Nandini shrugged her shoulders, liking the idea because no one can say no to food.

On their way to the canteen they heard some loud cheers coming from the Audi room. It seemed like some people were playing music. "Chalo hum dekhte hain vaha kya chal raha hain." Navya said while dragging Nandini to the Audi. Just when they entered Navya froze on her place. Her jaws dropped and her eyes gleamed.

"Matarani! Yeh toh Fab 5 hain! Hum inke sabse bade fan hain. Inke liye toh hum Mumbai aaye hain!" She whisper yelled, in awe.

"Kyu? Inmain itna kya khaas hain?" Nandini enquired.

"Tum khud he dekhlo. Mera matlab sunlo. Tum samajh jayogi." Navya answered. They were a group of five people who looked like they owned the world. Because of the dimmed lightings she couldn't clearly see the face of the lead singer. Slowly she felt herself swaying to the beats of their music. She realized why her new friend loved them so much. No, not only her but the entire college which was crammed into a small space just to see them perform live. Navya pulled Nandini into the middle of the crowd so they could get a better view.

"Yaaaar! That Manik is so hot and talented. I wish I could make him my boyfriend!" Some girl shouted.
Nandini heard it and her gaze fell on that person. Her eyes almost bulged out of their sockets. He was the same guy whom she had caught staring at her.

Manik looked like a Greek God under the shimmering lights. He strummed his guitars ever so beautifully, while his Adam's apple bobbed when he hit the high notes. He was looking through the crowd when his stare stopped on a familiar face. A beautiful face. Their eyes met and fixed on each other. The time stopped and everything blurred out leaving them in the auditorium. An unusual feeling grew in their hearts. You could see the sparks fly and a fire ignite because of the high intensity of the attraction they felt.

But, maybe their destiny wanted to keep them waiting a little bit more long. They had a long way to go before they realized that they were meant to belong together. Navya jerked Nandini, bringing her out of her dream world as she had to go to the washroom. Though Nandini didn't want to leave she had to, for her friend.

Manik saw her leaving. His heart sank a little."Kon hain voh? Why do I feel so bad because she left? Is she the one?" His mind wandered but his heart knew the truth. He had sensed something which he had never felt even when in a 7 year old relationship with Alya. He couldn't put his finger on it, but he was sure that Nandini had crossed his path for a reason.

Meet Alya Saxena. The absolute diva of S.P.A.C.E and Keyboard player of Fab 5. She and Manik were in a relationship for 7 years. But, they broke up a year ago with mutual consent after they realized that they were never meant to be together. The best thing was that they never let it affect their friendship. They continued to remain best friends. Alya still looks up to Manik whenever she is in a dilemma. He was sure that there was nothing like love from his side. Was it the same with Alya?
