Part 19: Return Of The Devil

As I ended the song I heard few claps. When I opened my eyes to see who it was, my heart stopped beating for a second. This couldn't be possible. No way. It must be my imagination. No Aiyappa. Please be it a dream. I started sweating profusely. I didn't know how to react.
"Tum?!" That's all I could say.

"Yes Nandini. Main he hu. Your favorite Harshad." That evil guy! He had so much guts to come back even after what Manik did to him. How can someone be so cheap?

"What the hell are you doing here? You are not allowed in this college anymore!" I roared at him. I was Manik Malhotra's girl after all.

"Oho Miss Nandini. Don't you know I'm Nyonika's favorite. You know her very well. She let me back into the college." He boasted proudly as if he had achieved some glorious award. And that Nyonika! What kind of mother she is. Oh my dear Manik. I feel so bad for him. I can't believe this. I hate her so much!

"Kaha kho gayi murthy? Don't stress your little brain." He brought me out of my chain of thoughts. He had an evil grin on his face. It was clear that he had no regret about his deeds. I took a deep breathe, stood up and walked towards him. I was not going to fall weak this time.

"You have no amount of self respect Harshad. You don't remember what Manik did to you last time! Don't you? So if you love your dear life go away. Far away from us!" I spit angrily on his face. The ever calm nature of mine had turned into an angry goddess. The after effects of being with Manik you see. But his reaction confused me. His little grin turned into a wide smile.

"Don't worry Babe. I will go away as soon as I take my revenge. And do you think I'm so stupid.? I know your bodyguard is not here to protect you. You can't get away now little girl." He laughed out loud as if he was a villain of a disney movie. So dramatic! And how dare he called me babe? He's such a pussy! He knew Manik was not here and he took advantage of it. Ha!

"Voah! You're such an ass Harshad! You are so afraid of Manik. You're not man enough. If you were, you would face him and not mess with his girl behind his back. LOSER!" I tried my best to be strong. It was working somehow. But there was a fear inside me. Fear that he would try to harm me.
