One can always make mistakes but never make a fatal one.

"I hope I didn't disturb you son." Raj spoke with a menacing sneer on his face and a fiercy gaze in his eyes. If you would see closely, you could see the pits of hell in place of his brown orbs, a feature that he had passed on to his son. There was an ominous silence in that room. The only sound that could be heard was Nandini's speeding heart beat. One moment ago, she was living a fairytale and in another, her worst nightmare had come alive. But, Manik remained unfazed as he was very well accustomed to his father's anger. Both the Malhotra men had the hot Punjabi blood flowing through their veins.

"No Dad. You didn't. But, it looks like you were missing me too much." Manik replied with the same sarcastic tone. He was his father's son and he knew never to back down if you are not wrong. "Of course, how would I miss the opportunity to red handedly catch my son's romance?" The sheer disgust in his voice was enough for anyone to understand how furious he was. Though he was speaking to his son, his eyes were on Nandini. It was evident that he entirely blamed her for his son's rendezvous.

"Stop it Dad. You are making a scene out of a small issue. We will talk about this later." Manik replied through gritted teeth. His patience was cutting lose and he feared he would say something which he might regret later. Nandini stood there aloof, silently witnessing their encounter. If she wanted, she could have excused herself out if it but, never in her dreams would she leave his side. They were in this together.

"No. Enough of talking later. Let's settle this today and now." When it comes to being adamant, no one can beat Raj. Manik sighed defeatedly, seeing no way out of this. Nandini, silently whispered prayers for this to end peacefully. She somewhere blamed herself for putting him in such a situation.
