It's been probably 45 minutes of me waiting, but it felt like an eternity. My God, I've never felt worse in my life. I just want to hug her and kiss her and I want to make sure the baby is alright. While waiting, I stopped by the cafe and grabbed something to eat for both of us, but I just couldn't eat because I was so worried, so I walk back to the hallway outside the room and begin to pace again.

"Hey, what's going on?" Rosa asks, walking swiftly over to me with the others.

"I don't know..I was-she saw...I messed up." I say, dropping into one of the five chairs set up outside the operating room, holding my head in my hands, thinking about everything that's going on.

"How? Is she alright?" Karissa asks sounding worried.

"She passed out. I don't know if she was breathing because I jumped into the car and came here."

"Oh my gosh..I hope she's alright. What of she's dead?!" Rosa says, sitting down as she begins to cry.

Just then, the doctor walks out and takes off his mask. He was a fair-skinned man in his mid-to-late 30's who stood a little taller than me. He was a little chubby and had graying hair.

"Oh lord! She's dead, isn't she?" Rosa screams, crying more.

"Please tell me how she is, sir." I say, jumping up from the seat and ignoring Rosa's comment.

"She's fine. She just had a panic attack because she got very anxious. She is awake right now so you can go in and see her if you'd like."

"And the baby?" I ask.

"The baby seems fine. But it's life was in danger so please make sure she is calm and not amped up again or the results could be worse. The baby is still young and not fully developed yet, so she's at a higher risk of miscarriage this early on in the pregnancy."

"Thank you so much." I shake his hand, smiling because she's alright.

We walk into the room and she's in the hospital gown, trying to reach for the sheet but it's at the end of the bed and I know she's too weak to get it. I chuckle and she looks up at us, smiling for one second then meeting eyes with me and quickly looking away. I walk over to her and put the blanket over her, causing her to mumble a dry "Thanks."

"Hey Kenz! I thought you died girl!" Rosa cried, walking over to Kenz and squeezing her tight.

"Well, if you don't loosen your grip, I just might." She said with a smile.

"Oh, sorry boo. Now, keep your little self calm, I can't live without you."

"Okay. Sorry.." She says, chuckling, then frowning. Oh God, I know she remembers.

"Yeah. Next time, I'll choke you out myself. Please don't scare me like that." Karissa says, hugging her.

Everyone said something and hugged her. Her smile slightly dropped when she looked at me and I swear a piece of my heart broke. Then she said that they had to give her some fluids because she was badly dehydrated.

"How?" Rosa asks.

"Because I was throwing up and didn't drink any water." Kenz answered, laying her head back and staring at a still confused Rosa. I stare at her for a while, taking in her beautiful smile, then she turns and looks me in the eyes.

"I'm glad you're alright." I say, still staring at her eyes that seem to give no hint as to what's running through her mind.

"Thanks. You guys, can you..can you please give us a minute?" Kenz asks.

"Sure." Everyone says and walks out.

When they leave, she bites her lip and begins to mess with the ends of the sheet as if trying to avoid something.
