My Growing Heartache

Chapter 6: Back to school....

Soo, this chapter is kind of short and may be boring but it gets better me loves :). Here is chapter 6. And please check out 'Shape of my Heart' by BrittneyCasey. I will be including her main character in my next few chapters...maybe more. Okay loves, here we go.

We reached the Cafe and chose a table outside since it was nice and sunny. Everyone was out today. It was super crowded. "So what do you want?" Rosaline asked. "You know what I want." I said laughing. She and I always get the same order: a Mango smoothie, BLT bagel with cream cheese, and a chocolate chip muffin. She got the order and came back.

"So, how's everything going?" She asked, breaking the silence. "Romeo and I are doing and you remember 'the incident'," I say, not wanting to say what happened. "Well, he said he'd never do it again and I wasn't going to believe him but then I remember my mom saying never give up on love so I gave him one more chance." She looked concerned. "Kenz, just make sure you know what your doing. I love you and don't want to loose you like this. I want us to get old and die together." As soon as she said that, we both busted out laughing.

"So about that gift you had for me?" She said smiling. "Oh yeah, here love." I handed her the necklace and she started crying. "What's wrong?" I asked. " nothing this is just so beautiful. And I've missed you so much. And it's nice to know that you still consider me your sis." She finished, wiping her tears. "I love you sis" I gave her a hug and she replied "I love you too."

We finished our lunch and went to the bowling alley. "So are you going to be to coming back to school." She asked hesitantly and I understand why. "Hell no!" "Oh why not Kenz? I be missing you girl and I miss having someone looking good with me." Why does she think I'd ever want to go back to that hell hole. School is about to start and I'm supposed to be a junior. As soon as I turned sixteen at the end of my sophomore year, I wanted to be out of there and with my baby Romeo. "I don't want to be there with all those fake, backstabbing, Barbie wanna be bitches." I told her. She knew I was telling the truth and that's why she put her head down in defeat. "Ugh.." I sighed. "I'll see. But I gotta ask Romeo to see how he feels." I told her. She started smiling so hard and hugged all the breath out of me. Lets get out of here and go back to school shopping. I agreed and we went straight to the mall.
