I, personally, cannot stand when Wattpad authors demand to have votes or comments.
Yes, it is nice for them to vote.
And yes, it is nice for them to comment.
However, this does not mean that you need these votes.
Fairly often, people complain about "ghosting"- about the people that read their books but don't vote or comment. Now, that is irritating, but it is something that, as a writer, you will have to face. If you're planning to actually do this as a career, a little advice- there will be rejection at one point or another.
However, people somehow fail to see that ghosting is actually important. It's nice to have votes, but how about reads? How did you get to 100 reads with only 23 votes?
People voting for your stories isn't everything. Plus, a fair few of the ghosters you get are most likely trying to figure out if they like your stories or not.
So please, don't say things like "If this doesn't get 100 votes I will delete it", or "I hate it when people ghost".
