First day of senior year. Eeeeek.

I knew I wouldn't survive the year without Josie. I had Jacob, yeah, but no Josie? Oh hellllllllll NO.

Jacob's locker was conveniently three lockers down from mine. I don't think I've really described Jacob yet. He's pretty handsome (but I don't think I'll ever fall for him), yet NO ONE likes him. Maybe I just have weird tastes. He's blind in one eye (car accident when he was two). He always wears sunglasses (mostly because of blind eye). And he's my guy friend. Forever and ever.

I don't think I've described me yet. Well hi. I'm Amalie. I have ADHD (I'm hyper 24/7 pretty much). I play soccer, well, I quit after the Josie thing, but I signed up again. I have brunette hair and I'm short and skinny. Nothing special about me.

Josie decided to be my friend in sixth grade, when Gail Simon called me a Freak (hence my ADHD) and Josie ate lunch with me, to be nice. We took off from there. In eighth grade, Jacob came along. He legit has no guy friends. I secretly think he'll eventually become trans, because he acts super girly... all. The. Time.

"Fuck!" Jacob whispered. "Nasty Ass Gail!"

Gail was mean. She thought I was sooo weird, having ADHD, and shunned me the moment we met. She was pretty much a Regina George clone, except she got butt implants this summer. I saw her at Guess when I was shopping for school clothes. She could be in Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda". So me and Jacob dubbed her Nasty Ass Gail.

Uh oh. She was coming over to us.

"Oh no, widdle baby Amalie doesn't have her bestie?" she sneered. "Sad. For you. It's about time she died. We didn't need her depressed ass here anymore."

Then Jacob pounced.
