Running out of Time <A Gravity Falls Book>

15.Mind games

( That last chapter got SUPER intense! Wow!but this one is probably even more intense! )

I wake in a place that had surrounded me with floating objects.
I looked around and Then stood up.
"Hey there blue jay!" I hear.
I look to see Bill.
"Bill! What have you done?! Where am I?!?!" I asked panicing some.
"Welcome to Mindscape!" he says.
My eyes bulge. "Being me back you stupid triangular thing!" I yell getting flustered.
"Afraid I can't do that just yet." he says.

"And why is that?!" I say.
"Because I want you to see what that pine tree thinks about you."

I blink. "O-okay..." I say unsure. He snaps his fingers and then I was in an area.
There was a large screen and buttons with symbols on it.

One of which was a blue jay... But it was separated from the others.
"This is where you can see what other humans think about you.
Go ahead, push One." Bill says.

I look at every button and pick the shooting star.
Then Mabel spears on the screen.
"So Dipper what do you think of that girl...Lilly." she says.
He just shrugs.

"She's a little...weird." she says.
I frown at This. I look at the buttons again. Then I click on the button with a moon-like symbol on it.
I see Stan now on the screen.
"Yes! Lilly! I knew that!" he said. This from when I first got here.
Then I could hear his thoughts go by.
"Weirdo child..."
I wanted to start to cry again.
I then clicked on the line tree symbol. I immediately knew who this was. Dipper.

I saw his face on screen and watched closely.
"Why didn't you tell Me about these?" He asked kind mad.
"It started happening when I first came here... I didn't think-"
"Yeah...exactly...You didn't think.... How irresponsible Lilly...freak."
Just then my heart shattered.

I broke down in years knowing that I was unwanted all over again.
"Now, remember blue jay... If you don't kill him yourself then I will make you." Bill says and then I wake up in my bed.
I feel the tears streaming down my face rapidly.

I look to my left to see Dipper...asleep." I shake my Head and stand up.
The words kept going through my head over and over again.
Freak...
Weird...
Then Dipper wakes up.
"Lilly!" he says.
I say nothing. I just cry.
"W-what's wrong? What happened back there?" he asked.
I shook my head.
"Can w-we just go to the woods. I need t- to c-lear my head..." I say inbetween sobs.
He grabs his vest and slips it on and nods.

We walk out to the forest and I let him lead.
I pick up a rock about the size of my hand and close my eyes for a moment.
What are you doing Lilly. Keep it together... Don't do it.
I kept saying to my self.
I then hear Bill's cackle.
I clutch into the rock and open my eyes.
He turns around and I push him.
Stop lillian...
"Lilly? What the Heck."

"That was for s-saying I was a f-freak..." I stuttered.
He looks at me confused but scared.
I bring my hand with the rock in it higher.
"And y-you are gonna pay f-for what you have p-ut me through..." I say through tears.

But right as I was about to throw the rock straight at his head... Something stopped me.
Myself.
LILLY DON'T! HE LOVES YOU. WITH ALL HIS HEART!
I scream at myself.
I felt my self shaking. Sobbing and and I fell week...
I dropped the rock and He wasn't tense anymore.

I dropped to my knees and cried.
"I can't do it... I can't do it... I'm going insane... I'm.going mad!" I say to myself over and over again.
"Lilly....What just happened..." he asked.
I was still shaking.

"Dipper... I d-don't know What just happened... I-i am s-s-so sorry..." I stuttered.
He was so so confused. I could tell by his expression.
"W-what did Bill say to you..." He asked sitting up some.

My body still shaking.
"H-he showed me w-what you, mabel, and everyone thought of m-me. He said that you were calling me freak and weirdo in your thoughts." I explained.

He looked hurt.
"Why would we ever think of you that way?! Lilly. E-ver since you came here I have had this huge crush on you.
You are beautiful, funny, and very caring! I wouldn't ever call you that?! Neither would Stan or Mabel!" he said. Getting closer to me.

"I think you need to just breathe... we are gonna go back to the shack and you are gonna calm down. Okay?" he said standing up. He held out his hand.
I nod and take his hand.
But I let go after he pulls me up.

We walked back to the shack and Stan was with Mabel. 
When he saw us he stood up and ran to us.
"Where were you kids?!" he asked.
Dipper and I looked at each other.
I nodded.
He turned to Stan and exained what happened.
"Listen kid...don't ever let Bill get to you like that.
He's a dream demon...he WILL manipulate you into doing what he wants done. No matter what the cost." Stan said to me.
I sniffled and nodded.

"It's gonna be okay...." he said and for the first time...He hugged me and Mabel and Dipper joined in.

( It's probably not as long as usual but I have BIG PLANS for some future chapters that I need in a certain way so... Sorry guys. But I hope to update soon! )
