25.New Friends

( So I changed the cover....AGAIN! Because I am just experimenting with what I have at the moment. Just letting you know. )

Lilly's POV

I woke up sweating. I was breathing heavily looking around frantically. I stopped and stood up I looked at the time and it was 6 in the morning.
I sigh and got dressed then walked downstairs.
Dante was lying down next to the couch and I pet him some before opening my front door to take a look at the town.
There were a few people out.
I noticed the guard's and saw Garroth standing and talking to another guard.
Then he began to turn toward me and I remembered his question.

He started to walk this way and another guard took his place.
He Made his way over here and I saw that goofy grin again.
"So I talked to the head guard and he said He wants to meet with you. You and him were Also very close friends! His name is Laurence!" He said.
"Oh... Does he know it's me?" I asked.
He shook his head. "I wanted it to be a surprise. And you can tell him about losing most of your memory." he said.
I nodded. Then I questioned something.
"Do I have a lot of friends here?" I asked curious.
He nodded. "Almost the entire town loved you! But you have about 6 to 7 close friends... Including me." he said.

I smiled. "Okay. When do I meet up with Laurence?" I asked.
"When your ready." he responded. I nod.
6 to 7 friends was WAY more than I had in my lie of a life.

"Garroth! Come on man!" a guard yelled. "Hey I gotta go but I get off a little after 8. Maybe then I can show you around town and show you the town people!" he says starting to walk off.

"Wait! But garro-- what the?" I heard a gasp. I turn and see a girl glancing at me like she just saw a ghost.
"H-how... Is i-it- Lilly?" she stuttered.
"It can't be...." she said and I remembered something...

Flashback

"It can't be... There's no way you for the job! The top guard is-"
I stopped her.
"My future friend apparently! He said that He saw something in me..." I say.
She raised an eyebrow.
"What? The great a wise Kaitlyn doesn't believe me? Go ask him yourself! That is of he will even let you through the gates!"
I say and she giggled.
"You know that Laurence guy...
He might be the next in line for top guard. Apperintly the top guard now and Laurence are related. He is kinda cute too...
*Gasps*"
She looks behind me in shock.
I turn and see whom I was guessing to be Laurence.

End of Flashback

"Kaitlyn?" I managed to say.
She ran up and hugged me.
She had Black, long hair and Beautiful Brown eyes.
"Has Garroth told you anything?" I asked and she looked at me confused.
"Wait Garroth KNEW you were her!? WHY that little-"
"Listen, I need to talk to Garroth and Laurence real quick. I'm sorry I don't have much time to explain but I really don't HAVE much to explain...." I say and rush off to look around the town for a guard tower or something like that.

I guess I was running so fast that I bumped into someone and I fell down. "S-sorry I uh... I need to be goi- LILLY!" he said and tackled me to the ground in a hug.
Well now I feel terrible because I don't even know how close we are.... This is gonna go great....

"Laurence thank God your the one I ran into... I ne-"
"You are probably wondering who I am and why I ju-- wait how do you remember my name?!"
He questioned letting go of me.
He stood up then helped me to stand up.
"Wait you know What happened to me?! I have been having these visions- then Dante- and Garroth-- Kaitlyn... You?!
Whoa whoa whoa! Hold up..."
I said Getting confused.
I needed to organize everything in my brain but it didn't help that he started screaming through his thoughts.

"So you have already ran into Dante I see..." he says.
"More like he ran into me." I say and he chuckles.
"Wait you were looking for me? Why?" he asks.
"I need answers about...everything...." I say.
"Well I guess I do too now that your back in town." he says.
He grabs my hand and drags me across town into what looks to be a watch tower.
"Great to know I was going in the wrong direction..." I say.
"How did you know where to look for me?" He asks.
"From Garroth." I say.

"So you have ran into Garroth already? Anybody else you have ran into?" he asks. He pulls out a chair for me and I sit in it.
"Kaitlyn. And that's it." I say.
He nods.
"Well three down... Four more to go!" he says. I sighed.
"Now I want you to start from the beginning... I need to know how You have been and why this has happened step by step..." he says. Then the long story of ever since I came to gravity falls.
But I left out the mushy stuff of most of me and Dipper.

Dippers POV

She knows how to take care of herself. She is gonna be alright. Right? Ugh...
"Dipper?! You... Idiotic brother of mine! WHY would you assume the worst and yell at her for it?! You do realize she has SUPER POWERS?!?!?!
She probably had some kind of vision of the dog! Ugh! "
Mabel was shaming me pretty much.
I sighed. "Look Mabel..." I say.
"NO! YOU look here mister! Lilly was not only your girlfriend but your loyal and honest friend!
She cared about you... She helped you at time of need and your just gonna sit here on your butt and look through that dumb journal?!
It doesn't have ALL the answers you know..." she tells me.

I look up from the journal and see her straight forward look.
I sighed again.
I set the journal down and looked at Mabel.
"Fine Mabel... But we wait till tomorrow." I say. She nods and walks upstairs.
This is gonna be a long trip..
