35. Separated.../Epilouge

Dippers POV

After everyone left Mabel quickly fell asleep upstairs while Lilly was fighting sleep. I guess the Mabel Juice wore off finally.
"Dip.... I don't think I can make it..." She said half asleep. I chuckled. I was kinda tired too. But I can't imagine how much Mabel gave her so...
"What did we learn today?" I asked.
"Never take juice from Mabel....." She says sleepily. I laugh at her response. She had her head on my lap with the rest of her body on the rest of the couch.
I pulled her hair out of her face. She was now sound asleep. I carefully pick her up trying not to wake her and lied her down in her bed upstairs.
She was out cold so just in case she did wake up in the middle of the night, I turned on a lamp near hear and wrote out a note saying she could come to my room if she was having trouble going back to sleep.
Which apart of me is saying that she wouldn't have trouble at all considering she had been doing all kinds of flips around the house.
I then go to bed in my room smiling to myself...

The end of summer

Lilly's POV

I had to call my foster parents now. I told them that I wanted to talk to them before they came but they just called me dumb and are now driving this way. Dippers parents were already coming so he had to tell them when they got here as well. I sighed sitting on the porch. Sipper was inside and I heard arguing. Probably him and Mabel. I hated it when they fought. But I have no control over them.
"YOU CANT CHANGE MY MIND MABEL!" Dip yelled. I was too tired for this... I walk in and I swear my head almost blew. "WILL YOU GUYS SHUT UP ALREADY! YOU HAVE BEEN ARGUING FOR THE PAST HOUR AND YOUR MAKING MY HEAD HURT! I DONT CARE WHAT ITS ABOUT I JUST WANT YOU TO SHUT. UP! AM I CLEAR?!"
I scream. They were shocked at my sudden outburst. They both were hesitant, but nodded. "I'm too tired for this right now..." I mumble before walking back outside.

I hold my head and SHUT my eyes. Too much on my plate right now!

"Goodnight... Lillypad."

"New friends. New life. New house. Okay... I can do this..."

"My favourite was always the big Dipper."

"I really like you..."

"Well then lilly, I'm very disappointed in you... Y-your grounded... Tonight."

God why won't anything end.

"No. You have been way too obsessed with it today. You need to take a minute and chill!"

"Everything... Dipper. Ever since I for here I feel like I have been lied to. Betrayed in so many ways. I can't just have someone tell me the truth! And it hurts. Like i can't be trusted! And Dipper... It may HURT to know the truth... But it hurts even worse to know that your being lied to..."

I wish it would end so badly though...

"Don't HURT him Bill... I know your watching... Your always watching!"

"I was a ticking bomb. I had all that anger inside me after all that's happened and I finally blew up."

"Now who's the stutterish one?"

"L-Laurence I need to know how I lost my memory..."

This summer has been a wild ride...

"You know... You used to have short hair."

"Well it's all connected to a hard drive. This hard drive is very important! We are relying on you to care for it till the day you leave the state of Oregon."

Did you ever cut...

"I'm too tired for this right now."

All of my memories flooding back to me as that familiar car pulled up. Snap back to reality Lillian. Now or Never...
That just rang through my head.
My foster parents walked up to me and immediately pulled me up. I escaped from their grasp and my foster mom looked at me like I was crazy. "Come on you dumb girl were leaving..." she said. "Your right. Your leaving." I say. This was the first time standing up to them. "Excuse me young lady?! Stop playing around and get in!" My father said and grabbed my wrist. I tried pulling back. "LET GO!" I yell. I stomp on my "dads" foot and he lets go.
He yelps in pain.
I back up. "You guys aren't my parents! I choose to stay here... I hate you!" I yelled. "WHATEVER! If you choose this boring old town over your parents then we don't care! Come on Brady!" she yells. I cross my arms. Then I am pushed to the ground by my so called "mother" I land on a rock which really hurt.
The two got in their brand new car. I held my back in pain as Dipper helped me up. I pick up a rock and throw it at their wind sheild. It cracks half of the window. I snicker as she screams surprised. "YOUR NOT MY PARENTS!" I yell as they drive away. I turn around to see Dipper right there. I back up not realizing he was that close.
I sighed in relief. I got some of my anger out at least...
Then another car pulls in. Dippers eyes widen. Then he frowns. "Dipper... Go home if you absolutely need to. But of your really staying then--"
I was cut off by him kissing my cheek which made me blush.
"Here. Just in case I loose and my mom and dad take me back... I want you to have this." he says pulling a stopwatch necklace out of his shorts pocket.

He puts it on me and I remembered this necklace on reverse me?! But now wasn't the time. "D-dip..." I say looking at it. I look up at his saddened face. I pull him into a hug. "Thank you so much Dipper. I love it." I say. He rubs my back softly.
He lets go. "I'm gonna go take care of this." he says. I grab his hand and follow him.
Here goes nothing...

"Mom! Dad!" Mabel says giving them a hug. She looks at Dipper sadly. "Go ahead in the car sweety." Their dad says. "Come on Dipper." Their mom says. But Dipper doesn't budge. "Dipper... I said come on." she repeats.
"Mom... I'm sorry." he mumbles. I just stayed silent. "No." he says more clearly. She looked likeshe was already losing her temper.
"Listen son, we are not doing this. Now get in the car like your mother asked!" His father said.
Mabel jumped in the car.
Mabel wasn't staying?!
Oh no. This is why they were fighting. Oh gosh.
"Look I want to stay here. I'm not going." he says.
I sighed shutting my eyes tight looking downwards. He squeezed my hand tight.

"No your not!" she says. "Dipper of you do not get in this car you are going to be grounded! You have school soon!" she commands. "I. Don't. Care." he says. Oh gosh...
"Dipper no--"

"What if he goes to school here?" I blurt out. Her parents look at me. I should have just SHUT my mouth. I knew it. Wait for the yelling.
"Who are you exactly?" his mom asks. I look at Dipper then back at his parents. "I-I'm Lilly... D-dippers... Erm...."

Speak words lilly!
"She's my girlfriend. And she's right. What if I went to school here?!" he answers for me.
Uh....
"I don't know... What about your great uncle? Where is he?" My dad asked.
"Inside. We already talked about it. I just... Please let me stay." he says. They thought for a moment.
His mom sighed in defeat.
No way...
"I-i guess..." She said. Dips face brightened up. "R-really?!" he said. His mom nodded. He hugged her and then his dad. It was nice how dip had a better life than me. He turned toward me and I smirked slightly. I was happy for him. I really was.
It's just... Mabel and Dipper...
I just frowned at the thought.

They were twin siblings and they were seperating?! It just broke my heart. They said their goodbyes and when they left Dipper immediately walked up to me and asked what was wrong.
"Dip... Why did you choose me over Mabel?" I asked. He frowned. "I didn't... I chose me." He says. I sighed. It's too late now to change his mind.
I smiled weakly. "Congratulations... Your officially a citizen of Gravity fall's." I say. He smiles and puts an arm around me as we walked around town.

( Wow... It's over... Just like that... Well then... )
