Chapter Four:Jorden's Third Year and Phoebe's Second Year

Phoebe's POV

I had a long talk with my brother that summer about leaving my friends alone but he just scoffed telling me, "Then don't whine to me when they turn out to assholes." I sighed, I don't know why but he started to cuss whenever he can and it's starting to get on our parents nerves. I just hope he does not do that while we're at school otherwise he will get in more trouble than usual. "Please stop that." "Make me!" He told me while walking out the door suddenly I saw a blue Sudan in our driveway I now told my mom that I was going, she was on the phone, my dad was work, and my brother was in his room so I just left. Lily had invited me to her house for the rest of the summer and our parents had agreed to it. When we gotten there I saw that Lily's house was really beautiful she told me that Severus lived nearby so we can all hang out together sometime. I smiled at the thought, then she went inside once I had gotten my stuff from the car I saw a girl standing on porch. Once I made it up there she greeted me by asking me, "So, Are you one of my sisters weird friends?" I didn't understand by what she meant by weird so I asked, "What do you mean by that?" She then asked me if I went to the same school Lily did I told her I did, she then told me that makes me weird. "Oh, I'm sorry if I offend you." I told her while frowning, she took a step back from me as if she expected me to do something to her but I just went inside. Later that day, Lily asked me if her sister had called any name, I told her yes but I didn't mind I changed the subject by asking her if we could go by Severus's house tomorrow she told me that we could call him tonight and ask, just then her mother came in giving a phone it was my brother,Lily had left the room to give me some privacy but as soon as said hello he started yelling at me telling me that I shouldn't be hanging with a bunch of muggles. I told him that Lily is my friend and I could visit her if I want. He told me, "She's a dumb bitch." After that we started to one of the many most worst arguments in my life. I then hung up on him and began to cry. I guess I didn't hear the door open because I heard a voice asked me, "W-Why are you crying?" I looked up to see Lily's sister. I sniffed telling her, "My older brother and I got into a fight over the phone." "What was it about?" He started yelling at me, telling me that I shouldn't be hanging around muggles. She interrupted me to ask what a muggle was, I answer her, "It's a term used for non-magic folk." She kinda glared at me but I continued, "I told him thst Lily is my friend and that liked hanging out with her, then I paused thinking on how to put it, he called her a bad word then it got worst from there. I finally hanged up on him and you found me." She was silent for a minute ten asked me, "What did he called Lily?" I frown then said, "A-A dumb bitch." She looked calm but I could tell she was mad I then asked her, "How old are you?" She answered me, telling me that she was thirteen. I sighed telling that was she was the same age of my brother. She asked me if my brother was weird like me. "Yeah, he's a wizard. He's going to be a third year." I said sadly. She looked guiltily then Lily came in, "Tuney, what are doing in my room?" "Nothing!" She said quickly, "I just saw a freak in here!" She ran off Lily then turn to me, "Are you alright? Did my sister made you cry?" "No, It was my brother." I sighed, "I wish we could be like we used too." She gave me a small smile, "Don't worry about him, at least you, Sev and I can go swimming tomorrow." I smile but only slight, "Right." "Come on now, it's time for bed." That morning Lily and I packed some clothes into a bag then headed to the beach. We picked up Serverus at his house he told us he that he only had some shorts that he can swim in. Mrs.Evans said that it didn't matter Petunia, giggled saying that all he can use. Severus glared at her, Lily stopped them before a fight could happen while I just stayed silent during the ride. Once we got there everyone had jumped out of the car. I stayed because I wanted to help carry something. Once we gotten to our spot Mr.Evans thanked me and I left to find the others then I saw someone I thought I wouldn't see until school, it was Remus. I walk up to him smiling, "Hello Remus." He looked at me then took a double take he smiled then asked, "How'd you been?" We talked about our summers and I told him how I was staying with Lily's family. He then asked me about my brother I told him that we been fighting lately. He frowned apologizing if it was a sensitive subject. I told him it wasn't his fault and I was glad to see him, then it time to go. I hugged him goodbye he gave me his phone number telling me if I needed to talk he was there for me. I smiled hugging him again then left. Once we came home after dropping Severus off, Lily wouldn't stop bothering on how I had a boyfriend before her no matter how many times I told her we were just friends, Finally it was time for bed. After few weeks of hanging with Severus and Lily, we went to get our supplies at diagon alley, There I was going to meet my family. I was worried,Jorden and I didn't left on good terms when he called Lily's house. I took a deep breath then we made our way to diagon alley using floo powder. Once we were there I saw my family but my brother wasn't there. I frowned asking my mother where he went off too. She told me that he was already getting his things. Lily then told me, That all three of us can go looking for supplies together. I nodded and we were off. After we had our supplies I saw Remus again, We talked for a bit and he let me borrow another book called, "The Odessy". I thanked him and left with Lilly's family so that I could go home the next day, I sighed thinking about my brother I saw Petunia in the door then without thinking I asked her a very personal question, "Do you think you hate your sister?" She looked at me in shock then started looking around for Lily I presume and asked me, "What's this all about?!" I sighed telling her about our earlier trip to Diagon alley she was silent for a while then told me with a sigh, "I love my sister even though she's a show off as for your brother, he's an idiot for ignoring you that way." I hugged her surprisingly she hugged back. I told her thank you Then she left, once I was home my brother, he just stayed in his room until it was time to head for school. I sat with Lilly and Severus on the train and on the carriages I tried to sit with him but he to he to sit with to muggles kids. Severus gotten mad at him. He told us that was insulting himself too. I prevented the fight by telling him that i'll just sit with my friends. I frowned, I was worried what was wrong with us? A few weeks later I was done with the book that I had borrowed from Remus. I found him with his friends. I walked over to him and we started taking I told him about my brother. He suggest to me that I try talking with Jorden about this issue together. I thanked him then gave him his book he told me that I should come by his common room if I ever needed to talk or a friend he said with a smile. I left after a hug.
