Chapter Thirty Four: Another Crime Spree Another Trial

Well, another day pass, another day i'm closer to death, luckily I wrote my will and other shit a while back so those ministry fucker have nothing on me. However I ever since Clemènce and I returned from our honeymoon i've notice a lot of weird things, First off, Tiger's been acting weird and she's been hanging out alot with George, Not that i'm against it or anything, i'm just wondering why isn't she hanging out with her other friends. I hope they're not fighting or something. Secondly, I noticed that she's hanging out with Malfoy, at first I thought he was trying to use her but they seem really close and happy so I let it slide for now. I'm currently trying to find somebody to represent me for my trial but so far I have no takers, they say, It's a lost cause or they don't trust me enough to hear my side, so either way I'm fucked but at least i'm not going down without a fight and George even offered to play lawyer if I couldn't find one, even if bitch Weasley hated the idea. I always liked those two however today's the day of my trial everyone that Tiger knows came to support me as well as my friends. "Hey guys, Fifty bucks says he bails it." I overheard Tommy say followed by, "Eh, Twenty on hanging." Ernie argued then Alec said, "No way! They're going to use the unforgivable curse." I rolled my eyes then asked, "You guys are gambling on my death?" "Well..." Tommy paused as Ernie said, "You know it's going to happen." I rolled my eyes and said, "I know, So 25 on dementors." "Oh, that's a good one." Alec praised. "I know-" "Jorden!" "Fuck." I muttered knowingly. "Stop gambling! Give it back and lets go, and just so you know, Jorden's going to be just fine." Tiger spat out angrily so I said, "You heard her, mates." They groaned but did as told, luckily they noticed the movement I hand then handed their money to Ernie I grinned happy that at least someone was going to leave rich at my funeral. Suddenly the trial began, the judge or in this case Kingsly the minister of magic, "Jorden Hohnsen, You are wanted by the ministry by crimes against magical kind, How do you plead you case?" "Not guilty, your suck up ness." "Jorden!" I heard Tiger scolded I sighed then corrected to, "I mean your honor." He scoffed then the trial started with the same damn questions as the first one, How many people did I kill, if there were muggle involved, did I use the three unforgivable curses, bla bla bla. Soon I came to verdict guilt no surprise and this time they were going to use the killing curse on me. I could hear I faint yes being shout in the court room, I grinned knowingly as Kingsly raised his wand a voice rang out, "Don't!" It was Tiger, Kingsly immediately dropped his wand while I yelled at her annoyed, "Are you stupid or are do you love dying?" "I'm not letting them kill you." She argued I sighed being reminded of my first trial again, "Tiger we tried and failed." "The best way to take defeat is by the balls and don't let go until you see the light, well my case a fiery light. The point is we tried." She pouted stubbornly then said, "We tried your way now try my way." "Oh, God damnit." I muttered as she said....

Tiger's POV

"Ladies and gentlemen of the court, I know my cousin has done horrible things in the past but I would like a chance to prove his innocence with the students of Hogwarts." The minister gave me a curious glance asking, "If I may asked, Miss Potter-" "Hohnsen sir, My last name is Hohnsen." "My apologies, Miss Hohnsen, How would this change the current verdict?" "I believe that the word of the student and staff that he worked with could paint a clear picture of the person of who my cousin is." He was silent for a moment causing me to worry, "Very well, Miss Hohnsen. If you can change my mind about the accused then Mister Hohnsen will be clear of all charges against him. I smiled happily, You have two hours until the new trail begins I suggest you hurry." I nodded made my way out, as others followed me offering to help. Harry offered to find people that would defend Jorden, as well as George, Tommy, Alec and Ernie. We agreed to meet here in an hour then we quickly split up, Clemènce drove me to Draco's house. I thought that since he was a death eater he would knew more about Jorden's time there and if he that could help Jorden's chances. I knocked on the door only to be greeted by Mrs. Malfoy. "Oh Tiger, What a surprise." "Hi Mrs.Malfoy is Draco home?" "Oh yes dear let me call him, Please, Do come in." I walked inside as she called Draco's name. "Yes mother? He asked after a few minutes, Tiger, What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at the trial?" "That's why i'm here, Draco." He frowned saying, "I'm sorry." "No, I need your help." I quickly explained him what we agree on he quickly started telling me, "Well he and the dark lord were close the dark lord actually accepted him back really quickly than anyone else but he had to prove his loyalty." "How?" I asked as Draco swallowed then said, He had to assassinate his family. I was brought along to watch for ideas as well as to report back to the dark lord." My eyes widen in realization that he was talking about the night Jorden killed our family. "W-What happened?" I stuttered trying to force myself to hear it. Draco gave me a worried look but told me, "I had to ride in his muggle machine, from there we approached a house there was a woman and man living in it. He killed the woman first but stabbing- No, wait he used a muggle weapon, It's loud." "A-A gun?" "Yeah, I think that's what he called it. He used that on her then stopped the man came in I think he shot him i'm not sure it was really fast. After that he used the muggle thing to go to another home but I never left it so I don't know what happened to them afterwards we went home. I was scared that I was going to be next- Tiger? Are you alright?" He asked worriedly I noticed I was crying, "I'm okay. I told him sniffing, I just need a moment." He gave me a worried look but respected my wished after a few minutes I was calmer we continued until it was time to to meet up with the others, before I did I urged him to come and help he was reluctant but I understood why so I thanked him then said goodbye to him and Mrs. Malfoy then met up with everyone in front of the ministry of magic. Harry and George told me they was able to get a few students to come I thanked them and Alec and the others told me that they know someone who can help Jorden if this ends badly. I frowned knowing what they were referring but thanked them anyways. We walked in inside, I was worried about Jorden, Can we pull this off? I felt I hand on my shoulder I looked to see Clemènce smiling at me. I smiled back, took a deep breath then entered the courtroom.
