The Burrow loomed in front of them like a big flashing light, Rory grabbed for his father's hand, suddenly feeling nervous about being here. But it was his idea, it had taken both Rory and Fred to convince George to come here; there was no way that Rory could back out now.

"You alright?" George worried, Rory rarely held his hand now, being sixteen after all.

"I forgot how big it was," Rory looked up at his father who only smiled before walking.

"It is a bit big, isn't it?" George mused as they walked up the path through the snow.

When they stepped inside, all the surroundings Weasleys were quiet. No one really expected George to show up after losing his wife, it was the first year without her after all. But the silence was broken by cheers from every Weasley present.

Ginny and Harry stood with their children-James, Lily, and Albus; Bill and Fleur with theirs-Victorie, Dominique, and Louis; Percy with his wife and their children-Lucy and Molly; and Charlie and Fred, who had arrived earlier, and finally Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. It was normal that Ron wasn't present, he was still a part of the family but there was a tension that could be cut with a knife when he was around. Mostly because the twins created it along with Ginny, and when the news that he had a son but he didn't want anything to do with the child Mr. and Mrs. Weasley weren't too supportive. It was just better for everyone if Ron wasn't present until dinner if at all.

"Glad you made it," Charlie smiled when he pulled George into a tight hug. When he turned to Rory, he braced himself, Charlie always found it funny to hug him until he couldn't breathe.

"Well, now that everyone is here. Let's move to the living room while dinner cooks," Mrs. Weasley announced to the room.

Instantly Rory was grabbed by Lily and Lucy and pulled him to the living room.

"What is it you two?" Rory laughed when they pulled him to the floor.

"We want to play chess with you, Rory," Lucy grinned happily.

Rory smiled slightly, glancing at his father who was chatting with Percy, he had time to relax he guessed. He pulled out the chess board and laid out the pieces before himself and the girls.

"I'm glad you're here," James sat down beside Rory, chewing on an apple obnoxiously loud.

"Really? Had no idea," Rory muttered as his knight took one of Lucy's pawns.

"The adults were thinking that George and you may not show," James shrugged, "when Uncle Fred showed up without you two everyone thought you wouldn't show."

"Sorry, I stayed at Emmie's a bit later than I should've," Rory nodded.

"That's not fair! You can't take my rook!" Lucy shouted.

"It's fair," Rory objected, "you just don't like it."

Lucy stuck out her tongue as her father, Percy, stooped down to watch the game. "Are you lot playing fair?"

"Yes Uncle Percy, she just doesn't like the rules," Rory said.

Percy smiled slightly and kissed the top of Lucy's head before walking away. "You were at Emmie's?"

"Yeah, she said hello and sent along a gift for you," Rory said hurriedly before James could even ask.

James jumped up, "should send over mine then. Grandmum! Can I use the floo network to send a gift?"

"Yes, sweetheart," Mrs. Weasley smiled.

James jumped as Harry passed and placed his hand on his shoulder, "who you sending a gift?"
