Chapter 5 Last Day

A: Alex(me)
Ad: Ashley

The next few days were absolutely perfect. Me and Ashley had never been happier than that week in Hawaii. That Thursday was our last day and My friends let me and Ash spend it alone. Over that one week we learned so much about each other and we had so much in common. We decided to finish the week the way we started it. Coffee then a hammock on the beach. We just laid in the hammock and talked.

Ad: "What gonna happen to us tomorrow"
A: " Well I guess we can just do the long distance thing"
Ad: " We can do that, but it's not the same as seeing each other everyday"
A: " We'll be fine"
Ad: " But how well can any relationship survive when you can only see each other though a screen"
A: " I know, but we can make this work. I'm sure if that, but if you have doubts then it won't work"
Ad: " How can I stop having doubts. This is a situation full of doubts"
A: " If you know that we really do love each other, and we can trust each other then I'll be fine.
Ad: " I trust you. You're right. We have nothing to worry about I feel better already"
A: " Now lets relax and enjoy our last sunset together in Hawaii"
Ad: " Sounds good to me"

We laid there almost an hour after the sun went down. I just wanted to forget the outside world. The world I wanted to live in was just me Ashley and a hammock.

A: "We better get going"
Ad: "Okay"
When we stood up Ashley turned around and gave me a long kiss. A kiss more passionate than any kiss we shared before. By the time she pulled away I was in a state of shock.
A: "Wow! Where did that come from"
Ad: " No matter what happens, I never want you to forget this beach, this hammock, or me.
A: " I could never"
Ad: " I'm glad to here you say that. I love you Alex Mac"
A: " And I love you Ashley Davis"

That night we walked to our room with a sense of security in our future. I knew it would all be okay.
