Chapter 9 Meet the Parents

A: Alex(me)
Am: Ashley's Mom
Ad: Ashley

Later Ashley's mom came.

Am: " Ashley come down for din...oh...I didn't know Ashley had company"
Ad: " Sorry mom. I forgot to tell you Alex was here"

I sat up on the bed and started to introduce myself.

A: Hey Ms. Davis. Sorry I didn't tell you I was here.
Am: " Don't worry. It's fine. Why don't you girls come down to dinner?"
Ad: " I'm not hungry mom"
Am: " Ashley! You look like you've been crying! Are you okay?"
Ad: " I'm fine. I'll tell you about it later"
Am: " Well...okay then. Only if you're sure you're alright"
Ad: " I'm sure, Mom"
Am: " Okay. Do you want something, Alex?"
A: " I'm fine, but thanks"
Am: " Okay. You girls call me if you need anything"
A: " Thanks mom"

I laid back down and Ashley cuddled into me.

Ad: " Do you know what I just thought about?"
A: " What?"
Ad: " You'd look great with short hair"
A: " I want to cut my hair. It's just with all the different stereotypes, I didn't want cut my hair until u was out"
Ad: " Don't worry. You'll be out eventually"
A: " I know I will"
Ad: " I wonder what will happen Monday when I have to go to school"
A: " What ever happens, I know you're strong enough to handle it"
Ad: " I am as long as I have you"

She leaned in to kiss me, but at the last second I interrupted her.

A: " Whoa wait...Are you gay?"
Ad: " Shut up"
A: " Okay, but lez be honest"
Ad: " Just kiss me"

Maybe everything will be fine.

*The Next Monday*
The last week had been hard for Ashley. Everyone except for Taylor and maybe 2 other people, Everyone was really mean to her. It wasn't anything physical, but still.
I was on my way back from lunch when someone jumped on my back.

" Alex! I've been looking everywhere for you"
