Chapter 15 News Story

A: Alex(me)
Ad: Ashley
M: Alex's Mom
T: Tyler
I don't really remember when, but at some point in the night Ashley woke me up and forced me to tell her what happened. I do remember that she took it surprisingly well.
The next morning when I woke up Ashley still asleep on my chest. I didn't want to wake her so I just checked Twitter.( What did people do before they had 10 social media sites to check everyday. In about a half hour Ashley started to wake up.

A: " Morning Monkey."
Ad: " Morning Babe."
A: " How you feeling?"
Ad: " Sore."
A: " That sucks."
Ad: " Hey, do you wanna go see a movie."
A: " Yeah. We better get dressed."
Ad: " Do you wanna make breakfast first? It's 10, so my mom is probably at work."
A: " Sounds good. Do you have a speaker I like to cook to music."
Ad: " Over there."
I got out of bad and went to grab the speaker.
Ad: " So I was talking to my mom about what happen and she said she called the school and they're going to suspend the girls."
A: " That's fantastic. You know considering they were all like 4 foot 3 they really pack a punch."
Ad: " I know, it's really weird."
A: " Okay, I'm gonna go shower."
Ad: " Okay."

Me and Ashley enjoyed our Weekend and we were all prepared for Monday.
Monday morning I was called into the office. When I got there Ashley was sitting there along with the principle Mr. Haynes and a Tv reporter.

Mr. H: Mr. Haynes
R: Reporter

Mr. H:  " Alex, have a seat."
A: " Okay"
I looked over at Ashley for a hint about what was going on, but she just shrugged at me.
Mr. H: " I wanted to talk to the both of you together. It's come to my attention that you to were attacked for your sexuality. Now this of course is unacceptable. The four girls have been suspended, but channel 3 will be covering this story and would like to interview you both."
A: " As in an interview that will be on tv."
R: " Yes, on all our Thursday broadcast."
Ad: " That's great! We can raise awareness for this sort of thing."
A: " No. No. No. I can't be on tv. My mom doesn't know I'm gay."
R: " I think you should really consider this opportunity. Gay teens all over this state can hear your story."
A: " No, you don't understand!"

I got up and stormed out of the office, down the hall and in to the bathroom. A minute later Ashley came in.

Ad: " Are you okay?"
A: " I'm fine. I just needed a break."
Ad: " Alex, this is a really good thing. We could really help someone. Why don't you see if you can give a anonymous interview?"
A: " This is a small town. Word would get around."
Ad: " How"
A: " Everyone at school for know it was me. Some people might tell their parents and my mom could fine out. Moms talk you know."
Ad: " But this is really important."
A: " I know, but I can't. Please tell me you can understand that."
Ad: " I...I understand."
A: " I love you."
Ad: " I love you too."

So Ashley did the interview without me. And it came out great. She could really help someone with this. I was leaving school headed for Tyler's car, we were going to the library to study, when my phone rang. It was my mom.

A: " Hello."
M: " Alex come straight home."
A: " Mom? What's wrong?"
M: " Just come home now!"
A: " But..."

She hung up. I made my way to Tyler.

A: " Hey Tyler."
T: " Hey."
A: " Tyler I can't study today."
T: " What? Why not?"
A: " My mom called and said to come straight home. She sounded mad."
T: " Is everything okay?"
A: " I don't know."
T: " Well..okay. But you promise you'll help me study later."
A: " I promise. You the man Tyler."
T: " No. I'm the WOman."

As soon as I got home my mom was fuming.

M: " Sit down, NOW!"

Sorry about the long wait. I've had a hard time figuring out where I want this story to go, but next week is the start of Christmas break so I'll probably update then. Thanks for your support and please comment and vote.
