Ad: Ashley
T: Tyler

Things with Ashley are great. I decided to keep calling her monkey, but neither of us really liked spider so we're in search for a nickname for me. There is one problem though. Tyler has been acting really weird lately. When we're alone she the same as always, but when it's me and Ashley she's really sarcastic and a little rude.

*At lunch*

A: "Hey Tyler, come sit down."
T: "That's okay."
A: "What? You always sit with me. What's up?"
T: "Nothing. I'm fine."
A: "You've been acting weird ever since Ashley got here. Why is that?"
T: "I have not been acting weird. Just fuck off!"

Ashley made her way over to the table.

Ad: "Hey Alex. What's up Tyler."
T: "I better go"
A: "Ty wait. We need to talk."
T: "I don't have anything to say to you, you bitch."

Tyler stormed off madder than I had ever seen her before.

Ad: "What was that about?"
A: "I don't know, but I'm gonna make damn sure I find out."

Tyler was a year older than me so she already had her license. I decided to meet her at her car after school. I stood in front of the driver's door so Tyler couldn't leave until we talked.

T: "Get the fuck away from my car."

My thoughts were interrupted by Tyler.

A: "Not until we talk"
T: "I don't wanna talk to you."
A: "Well I'm not moving until we talk. And I can stay here all day. So you might as well start talking."
T: "Do you really wanna know what's wrong?"
A: "Yes."
T: "You won't wanna be friends with me after."
A: "Of course I'll wanna be friends. Now spit it out"
T: "I'm in love with you!"
A: "...what?"

Before I even had time to react Tyler's lips came crashing into mine. She kissed me desperately, like she had something to prove. I was to shocked to move until I heard Ashley's voice.

Ad: " ALEX?! HOW COULD YOU?!"
A: " Ashley wait!"

I ran after Ashley before Tyler could say anything. The whole thing confused me. No matter what my feelings for Tyler were, I knew I wanted Ashley. Before I could stop her Ashley was in the front seat of her mom's car driving away.

How could this have happened?
