A: Alex(me)
Ad: Ashley

The next day I walked up to Ashley's house and right as I was about to ring the doorbell, the door fell open.

Ad: " Alex I need you"
A: " What's going on"

She through her arms around my neck. There were tears streaming down her cheeks. I almost couldn't bare it.

Ad: " Let's not talk yet. Just come in. I just need to be near you right now"
A: " Okay"

I thought it was sweet how she only wanted to be around me, but I don't know how long I can watch her cry without knowing what's wrong.
She took me to her room and asked me to sit down on her bed. Then she sat in my lap and buried her head in between my neck and my shoulder. That's when she really started to cry. We sat there for about 10 minutes and just when I couldn't take it any more she sat up. As she dried her tears she started talking.

Ad: " Alex...the worst thing happened"
A: " What happened"
Ad: " Do you remember that girl, Jordan, you met in Hawaii"
A: " I remember. Your choir friend. Did she do something to you"
Ad: " She sent me this"

She showed me this picture of us kissing on the beach.

A: " You're upset because Jordan knows"
Ad: " It's not just Jordan. Our whole class knows. It wasn't Jordan, but someone in choir took this and sent it to everyone in our class"

The caption read " I should check on my gaydar. I couldn't pick up on this one." I could see a couple of the comments. "You slutty faggot" "Dirty little dike". These people were disgusting. I couldn't decide if I was angry or depressed.

A: " Do you have any idea who it could be"
Ad: " No, but I can't Believe any of them would do this to me. I thought we were all friends"
A: " Ash...I'm so sorry. What are you going to do"
Ad: " I don't know, but I know I'm not going back to that school"
A: " You know that you can't just drop out"
Ad: " Why the hell not. Lots of people do"
A: " Ash, be rational.
Ad: "I don't want to be rational. I want this to not be happening"
A: " I know, but this isn't going to disappear. Let's just relax a while and not talk. We can just put on some music and clear our heads. Does that sound good to you"
Ad: " Yeah. You're right"
A: " What do you want to hear"
Ad: " You probably don't have Night Visions do you"
A: " We really are soulmates"

She laughed. I was relieved to hear her laugh. I put on " Night Visions" by Imagine Dragons and we just laid on her bed and listened. A couple of times I could hear Ashley crying. Could you blame her? Her whole world just came crashing down on top of her. In an instant she was outed and became a huge target at school. I couldn't imagine the pain.

Ad: " I need a distraction. Do something to distract me. Anything"
A: " I could give you a nickname"
Ad: " Okay. Go for it"

I really had to think for a second. Then it came to me.

A: " How about monkey. And you can call me spider. Then together we'll be a spider monkey"
Ad: " That's random"
A: " I know. I just always thought that seemed like a cute idea"
Ad: " I like it. We're the only people who will get it"
A: " I love you. Most girls wouldn't think like that"
Ad: " I love you to. And remember, I am not most girls"
We kissed and then we decided to take a short disco nap.
