~Sam's POV~
Holy shit. I can't believe this. I've been signed to a record deal. It's so crazy. My dream is coming true. I'm a county singer currently being signed to a record deal. My life is finally complete. This was all I needed... I really can't believe it. I would have never thought in a million years I would be the one to be signed to a record deal. It's a weird feeling, but it's amazing. Turns out people do fall head over heels for this southern hospitality, Eh?
I guess now it's time to pack up all of my shit back home and move to Nashville. It's a big step, but it's worth it. It's my dream ever since I was a child. This has always been something that I have wanted to do. I'm definitely not going to miss out on an opportunity this big. If I was to, I would most likely regret it for the rest of my life.
I had already planned out what I was going to do. I was going to be leaving Nashville tomorrow, and go back home for about one maybe two weeks. I'm going to say bye to all my previous high school, college, and even work friends, and then I guess I'll tell Leila bye. Then I'm going to come back to Nashville in search of an apartment. Hopefully all goes well and then I can finally live my dream of becoming a country music singer.
I had just gotten back to the motel room when my phone rang. It was the same phone number as earlier, but a different person.
(R- record company, S- Sam)
S- Hello?
R- Hello, this is the record company calling. We just wanted to congratulate you again, and let you know we will be keeping in touch and hopefully get you in a recording studio before long.
S- Okay, wow. Thank you so much.
R- No problem. Have a great day.
S- Thanks.
-End of phone call-
It's definitely confirmed. I can't believe this. I've made it.
