Ayden's pov

"More!"

My fingers clench the bark underneath them harder as the whip strikes across my naked back. Zander let's out a growl of approval, before he brings the whip down again.

"P-Please don't stop."

"I already told you, too much would be bad for our pups."

Even though I know he's right, a part of me wanted to argue.

"I know what you're thinking, Ayden and you know better than to test my patience."

Instead of replying, I knelt down carefully and picked up my shirt, wincing as the material rubbed against my sore skin. I started to walk away, but Zander grabbed my wrist before I could move.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Away from you."

"Are you that unconcerned about our pups' lives?  If you want to risk their safety for your own selfish desires, then I'll continue, but you will bear the blame."

"Why did you make me like this?"

"Ayden."

Hearing the warning in his tone, I bit off an angry retort, instead making an excuse to get away from him.

"I'm tired, I going to go lay down."

Nodding, Zander released his hold on me and I slowly maneuvered my heavy body towards our tent.

'Why? Why wouldn't he keep going? I'm not weak!'

I jumped when I felt arms wrap around me, pulling me against a warm, strong chest.

"I know how strong you are, Ayden. But you are a beginner to this life and I know you're not ready for what I want to do to you."

"I just wanted a little more."

"Alright."

"Really?"

"But you'll have to do what I say and you can't argue with me when I tell you you've had enough."

"Yes."

Lifting me in his arms, he placed me on our bed on my hands and knees, to avoid putting pressure on my stomach and tore the bloody shirt from my back. I felt a shiver of anticipation go through me as I heard the rasp of the whip behind me.

"P-Please hurry."

The brushing of the whip across my back was my only reply and I had to hold back a moan.

"Start counting."

The whip sang through the air, striking me across my back and I stuttered out a shaky number one.

"Keep going."

"T-Two."

"Don't stop, Ayden."

"Thre. . . Three!"

"Four!"

"F-Five!"

"Six!"

"Sev. . . Seven!"

"Two more to go, Ayden."

"But, that's not__________!"

"You said you wouldn't argue with me, remember?"

"S-Sorry."

"Now two more. Ready?"

"Ni . . . Nine!"

"Good. And?"

"T-T-Ten!"

As soon as the last strike was over, I collapsed on the bed, no longer able to hold myself up.
