Colin's pov
I let out an irritated grunt as Fredrick's tiny fists pounded against my chest.
"Let me go!"
" Alright, I'll let you go . . . all you have to do is promise to never try to escape and to swear your eternal loyalty to our pack.
"Y-You're joking, right?"
"Of course I am, you're mine and even if all of your friends came to save you, I would die before I let them take you away from me."
As I placed him on his feet, he stared up at me with a look of awe on his face, unaware that I had released him.
"You . . . You would really die for me?"
I smiled when his eyes misted over.
"I thought you wanted me to let you go, Frederick."
"I______________________."
Lifting his chin, I crushed my lips to his, forcing my tongue inside without waiting for his permission; chuckling quietly when he released a sound that was a cross between a whimper and a moan.
"Do you like it when I'm forceful with you?"
"Y-Yes."
"But you don't want to go any further, right?"
"I don't . . . I don't know . . . I mean . . . I-I feel_____________________."
"I understand, you want to take it slow."
"If I mate with you, I'll be betraying my friends, but if I don't I'll be betraying myself . . . I don't know what to do!"
"To make it easier on you, just know I'm not letting you get rid of me."
"Good."
My eyes widened in surprise and I studied his beautiful face to see a gorgeous smil cross his lips, before a smirk crossed my own.
"So now that that's out of the way, how far do you want this to go?"
"Can you . . . Can you kiss me again?"
"How about you kiss me."
Fredrick's cheeks turned a lovely shade of pink at my words, but he leaned in letting his lips brush against mine in a chaste kiss that I quickly took control of.
"I-I think I'm falling in love with you."
I froze at Fredrick's declaration and felt him stiffen in my arms, before he tried to push me away.
"Stop it Frederick."
"I'm sorry . . . I shouldn't have said anything . . . please let me go."
Instead of listening to him, I tightened my hold until he stopped fighting.
"I'm happy Frederick, you just caught me off guard. I mean we just met and as attracted as we are to each other I didn't think you'd be thinking about love so soon."
"Oh."
"And I think . . .I know I fell in love with you the moment we met."
Frederick nodded a look of determination crossing his face as he placed a gentle kiss on my lips.
"I want to mate with you as soon as possible."
I grinned excitedly, barely resisting the urge to dance around the room.
"Let's do it tonight!"
Without waiting for a reply, I grabbed Fredrick's hand pulling him along behind me as I went to search for the Alpha.
