"my darling are you ready" Don called up the stairs after Meryl
"almost honey" Meryl replied "nothing fits help I can't fit anything help me" Meryl whined
"okay give me a sec" Don said walking up the stairs
"I'm getting fat Don do you see this fat its all fat" Meryl said while showing her stomach to Don
"no it is not fat it is a baby, babe your pregnant" Don said putting his hand on bending down and kissing her stomach.
"I love you" Meryl said as she ran her hands through his hair.
"hey peanut mommy thinks she is fat can you please explain to her that she isn't that she has you growing in her bell,please and p.s. I love you" Don said as he traced a heart on her stomach.
"aw I wish you could feel it moving but peanut isn't moving enough for you to feel them from the outside" Meryl said as she kissed Don the lips when he came up from her stomach
"about this outfit dilemma" Don said after they where done kissing
"nothing fits loosely anymore with out showing my stomach" Meryl whined
"well that doesn't matter does it because I want to show off my beautiful pregnant wife" Don said as he picked out a black and white skirt and a white over shirt with an golden owl necklace and a pair of black flats
"I love how you know just what to say to get me to do anything you say so I shall wear this for you my darling just for my one and only" Meryl said as she started to put on the outfit Don picked out for her
when they got to the doctors office they sat in the waiting room hand in hand while Meryl leaned on his shoulder. they have been waiting for ten minutes when a nurse came out and asked them to come back. Moments later Dr.Kitts came in with the ultrasound machine.
"so how are we feeling today Mrs.Gummer" Dr.Kitts said
"great we are both doing just fine and I said you can call me Meryl" replied Meryl
"that's wonderful Meryl" Dr.Kitts said "lets get started this will be cold"
Meryl winced a little at the feeling of the gel and the wand touching her skin.
"ok so there is the baby" Dr.Kitts said as she pointed to a little black spot on the screen
"that's our baby" Don said as a tear rolled down his cheek
"that's our baby" Meryl said as she looked up at him
"damn it gets me every time" Don chuckled
"I'm glad of that" Meryl said with a teary smile
"so it looks like baby Gummer is growing properly so nothing to worry about there and has he or she started moving yet" Dr.Kitts implored
"yes they started right before we left to come here" Meryl replied
"great and I will see you next week" Dr.Kitts said.
"sounds like a plan to me doc" Don replied straightening himself up
"ok then goodbye and have a great week" Dr.Kitts replied
"you too" Meryl said doing straightening herself up a little but not all the way for she didn't care what people thought because she was a overly hormonal pregnant women
later when they got home. "babe" Meryl said and sounded like she was almost in tears
"what's wrong my darling" Don asked
