2 hours later. "I wonder where the kids are" Meryl said while cuddling on the coach with Don
"I don't know but I'm sure they are fine my darling worry wort" Don said
" yeah I'm sure your right" Meryl said still a little iffy her motherly in-stinks kicked in and the where telling her something was wrong
"no I know I'm right" Don said Meryl laughed at his childishness "I knew that would make you laugh"
"oh you did did you" Meryl said "hey can we go get Gracie together today please because she needs to be picked up soon and I don't want to leave you right now" Meryl asked like a little child who want to get a new toy from the store
"why would I ever say no to you" Don replied
"ok" Meryl said like the little kids she was which made Don laugh
"oh I love you" Don chuckled
"I love you too you know what they say to grown children are better then one" Meryl laughed
"I don't think they say that sweets" Don chuckled
"well they do now" Meryl giggled
"ok what ever you say my princess" Don said as he gets up to get clothes so he can go pick up Gracie with Meryl "we probably should go pick up Gracie now"
"ok" Meryl said chiperly like a little school girl unaware of what was to come.
"ok lets go" Don said
"ok lets go then" Meryl agreed
later when they get to the daycare.they walk in together hand in hand, arm in arm. "aw Mr. and Mrs.
Gummer what a pleasant sight to see you here" greeted Beatrice "but what are you doing here"
"We are here to puck up Grace why" Don't stated frankly
"But sir she isn't here she is with her Uncle Joe" Beatrice said
"She doesn't have and uncle Joe of any kind neither of us are related to a Joe or Joseph of any kind" Meryl said scared as she started to hipper-vane-leat
"Calm down darling I'm sure everything is going to be just fine"Don't said unsure himself but he new he had to be strong for Meryl's sake
"NO IT WONT THAT'S WHAT YOU ALWAYS SAY WHEN SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS WELL I WONT STAND FOR IT OR DAUGHTER IS MISSING DON OUR BABY GIRL AND YOUR SAYING EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE JUST EVERYTHING US GOING TO BE FUCKING SUNSHINE AND RAINBOWS"Meryl yelled at him her hormones taking over mixed with a little motherly instincts which isn't always a good mix.
"she gave our child away to some strange and all you can say is 'it is all going to be just fine darling' " Meryl yelled as she pointed her middle finger at Beatrice
"calm down it isn't good for the baby and I don't you and the baby to get sick" Don soothed
"but but my baby she is gone where did she go I need her Donny I-I need her I want her back why does this happen to people what did I do to deserve this" Meryl cried as she fell into her husbands arms "WHY I'M GOING TO KILL THE SON OF BITCH WITH MY ON TWO BARE HANDS IF HE EVEN SO HAPPENS TO LAY A FINGER ON MY BABY" "oh my poor baby" Meryl was an emotional wreck. on second she would be crying then she would be yelling the she would be crying again
"we will find the son of a bitch" Don declared "even if I die trying he will never get away with this if I have to kill him myself then so be it"
"o-o-ok can you please take me home I-I-I just want to go home please take me home I want to g-g-go home please take me home" Meryl pleads into Don's now wet chest.
"anything for my baby" Don said as they start toward the door they walked out Don letting go of Meryl for a second fearing someone may take her too Meryl felt secure in her husbands arms with one arm protecting her stomach and her head leaning against Don's chest
"I love you" Meryl whispered as they got in the car
"I love you too Forever and Eternity my darling Forever and Eternity" Don said helping Meryl into the car.
