Chapter 12

*My race against "The Flash"*

A folded up note sat at the edge of the nightstand. My curiosity took over me and I reached the paper.

I opened the paper.
Sup Autumn. Meet me at the Strawberry fields after breakfast.

I quickly get changed into shorts, a t-shirts, and running shoes. I pulled my brown and blonde highlighted hair into a pony tail. I walked to the pavilion. The smell of bacon,sausages, pancakes, and eggs filled the air. I barely had breakfast back at home, I always had Cocoa Puffs, or Lucky Charms. Everyone's eyes glanced in my direction. Some campers had sun spots on their skin, and some had sun burns. They all gave me the death stare. I knew that was from my flare last dinner. I saw Jessica sitting at the Aphrodite table. She had a plate of french toast with syrup.

Jessica's blue eyes caught mine staring at her. She sat up from her seat and she walked towards me. Jessica had her left hand bandaged up. Her right hand instantly placed on my shoulder. I felt tingly and warm, then I felt a spark of pain.

"Ow." I cringe.

"There's a lot going inside that head of yours. So spill it." Jessica calmly said.

"If this is payback, then I'm sorry for burning your hand." I say quickly trying to shake her hand off, but it didn't move.

"No this isn't payback. I just want to know what happened the past day. I was in the infirmary and I couldn't clearly read your thoughts. So think everything that has been in your head."

I listened to her order. I thought about the meeting with Chiron, Rachel, and Mr.D. I remembered the words Rachel said, every single word was implanted in my brain.

3 demigods, 1 will lead the way

Daughter born from the sun

Shall be challenged in a relay

Her one true enemy has a goal

To make the day as dark as coal

To watch the sun fall

Jessica's eyebrows furrowed in concentration. Then she took her hand off my shoulder. "It's a good thing you listened to me. The last time someone didn't listen to me, their brains blew up." She pointed down near my feet. "Most of the chunks landed here."

I jump 3 feet in the air in fear. "Really?"

"Yep. Never underestimate my power." Jessica winked and she waked back to her table sitting next to Piper. Piper's right arm was bandaged up too. Man I should learn how to control my powers. I thought to myself.

After I had a Farmers skillet.
A/N:My favorite breakfast food ever. I went to the strawberry fields. I see Nick, standing there waiting for me. His hazel hair was messy and it fell over his brown eyes.

Nick waved to me and I waved back. He was hiding something behind his back. "Hey Autumn, I thought you'd never come. And your hair looks.....nice."
