Third Person

Erebus melted into the shadows after he had been shot in the leg.

"Stupid demigods." He cursed to himself.

He finally arrived in an ice palace. After he took the arrow out of his leg. He walked around for a bit. Studying the people/ creatures in their forever frozen position. The ice preserved these prisoners as if they were exhibits in a museum. Some of them were so old that they wore ancient battle armor. Some he could tell were recent.

"Finally, you have arrived." A voice spoke from the top of the Grand staircase made out of ice.

Erebus bowed at the presence of his mistress.

He could hear the loud clinking sounds of heels walking down the icy stair case. "Looks like you have failed me." She said. Each word echoed through out the castle walls and hallways.

Erebus waited, searching the words to tell his Mistress. Finally after the sounds of clinking stopped. Erebus swallowed. "The target......escaped." Surprisingly silence folowed. So he took it as a cue to continue. "She took the news very deeply and seriously."

A cold hand grabbed his chin. Sharp nails dug into his skin. He looked at his Mistress with pleading eyes. Her long black hair flowed to her waist, her golden eyes stared down at him with power. "I should freeze you right here. You failed to bring me the other Daughter." Her hand started to turn blue. "Do you know how far I've come. How hard I've worked for this plan to fall in its proper places. Now you've just jumbled up the peices. Do you know where the target is?"

Erebus wanted to keep his mouth closed, "N-no."

His Mistress released him and screamed. With her hand a blast of ice came right at him. Erebus quickly moved out of the way. He felt the ice burn under his chin.

The Mistress stopped and calmed herself down. "No worries. I have devised a new plan. You and your monsters find her. She'll come right to me."

"How," Erebus questioned. "It's not like she'll come prancing through here like a Gazelle."

She walked over to on of her most recent statues. "I have the bait right here." She touched the glossy ice that kept Kasidee in frozen terror.

"Yes, Mistress Khione." Erebus bowed again and melted in the shadows. Leaving the cackling, Khione, in her castle.
