Chapter 8

**My dinner at the pavilion**

"We should start heading to the pavilion. Dinner will be starting any minute." Nick said as we started walking away from the Hephaestus cabin.

"Is there like a menu we have to choose from?" I ask out of curiosity.

"Nope. Think of anything and it will appear." Nick replied.

My stomach was rumbling so frequently, I thought there is a earthquake inside of me. "Really?" I tucked a piece of my caramel hair behind my hair. So I could see Nick instead of my hair fly in between my eyesight of him.

We reached the Pavillion and hundreds of demigods were sitting at table arranged on what parent they had. There was also Satyrs and nymphs with them."Listen I'm going to go sit at the Hermes table, and you go find Jessica. She will be more than glad for you to sit next to her. So I'll see you later Lava Girl." He walked away and joined the Hermes table.

"Autumn!" I turn and see Jessica sitting at the table full with gorgeous people. "Come sit with me!"

I walked over to the her table and sat down next to her. " My brothers and sisters of the Aphrodite cabin. Meet Autumn, she is an unknown." Jessica announced.

I waved shyly and all of the Aphrodite children said, "Hi Autumn."

A girl with choopy hair that was braided with a feather at the end of it, and dark colored skin sat next to Jessica. "Hello Autumn, my name is Piper. Welcome to camp." Piper shook my hand. "I'm glad you made friends with my sister. Jessica is a wonderful girl."

"Um....Hi Piper." I stutter. Man all these kids looked amazing. I bet that all the other campers fantasize about being with them.

"Boys level down your dirty mind level to 1. Autumn is new here." Jessica said.

The boys of the table looked at me and startdd to blush. This is uncomfortable. I thought to myself.

"Autumn don't be uncomfortable it's just guys have to be guys. There's no way to change that. " Jessica added.

"You can read minds too?" I asked.

"Yes" Jessica sighed. "I didn't tell you at first because, I wanted to see how your thought process worked. So I could read it all the time. Do you have headaches all the time?"

"Yeah. It's been happening some of the time since I got here." I say truthfully.

"Demigods stop talking so I can have your attention." A voice boomed over the pavilion. A man in a Hawaiian shirt and khakis was at the front of the pavilion.

Jessica whispered to me. "That's Mr.D one of the camp's directors here."

Mr.D was holding a can of Pepsi and he started to drink it. Jessica tapped me on the shoulder again. "FYI, he's the God Dionysus. But he can't drink wine, because Zeus is mad at him for hitting on one of the nymphs that Zeus liked. Also he tends to say people's name wrong. So bear with him."

Mr.D announced. "We have a new camper in our presence. Like we need anymore campers here." He clears his throat. "Give a warm welcome to Aubrey Micheal." A nymph got up and whispered in Mr.D's ear. "Oh. I mean Autumn Mitchell."

Everyone in the Pavillion eyes were searching for me. So I sat up. Then they all clapped. I quickly sat back down.

"Alright then, let's just eat dinner." Mr.D walked away still chugging on his can of Pepsi.

Nymphs carried plates of food that smelled heavenly. A plate of Chinese food landed in front of me. O my god it looked amazing. It was a plate of fried rice with boiled eggs and shrimp. I immediately start to eat. This looked kind of familiar. A scream echoed in my mind. I grab my temples. My brain started to hurt really bad. I saw a girl with curly red and blonde hair. She had dimples on her cheeks. Her smile was bright and cute. Kasidee. A high pitched scream made my cranium bleed.

I scream. "Ahhhhh!" Still holding my temples.

"Autumn?! Are you okay?" Jessica held my arms. To keep me from falling backwards. Piper helped her.

"Someone get help!" Piper yelled.

Kasidee, she was taken by these monsters. I didn't save Kasidee. What kind of sister am I? I started to glow. Something else started to glow on top of me. I look up. And a sun appeared. I began to heat up. Jessica and Piper move their hands off of me to try to cool them off. I fell backwards and my head hit the pavement. My vision turned black.
