You and Me- Lisa Cimorelli (Fanfic)

Part 6

Chase's POV

I pulled up to Lisa's families house. It was huge. I live in a pretty descent sized house for just me but this house was incredible. As I parked my car in their large driveway I unbuckled my seatbelt and reached back for the bottle of wine I brought. Lisa grabbed the rolls and we started making our way up to the house.

Chase- "Wow this house is pretty amazing!"
Lisa- "Well it could be chaos inside so don't speak too soon."

I walked side by side with Lisa and eventually let her lead. We got up to the door and she twisted the knob to enter. As soon as we walked in I saw tons of people in her families house.
She made her way to the kitchen and I followed, unsure of who anyone was. Once we got to the kitchen she set the rolls she brought on the counter and I set the bottle of wine next to them. She greeted her parents with a hug and then introduced me.

Lisa- "Mom, Dad this is my friend Chase."
I extended my hand to her mother first because she was closer, then to her father.
Chase- "Hi it's really nice to meet you guys." I smiled widely at them, a little nervous because I suck when it comes to meeting anyone's parents.
Mom Cimorelli- "It's lovely to meet you sweetheart. I'm Lynne."
Dad Cimorelli- " I'm Mike. It's nice to meet you!"
They were both really kind. They didn't come off as super intimidating.
Chase- "Thank you so much for allowing me to join you guys tonight."
Lynne- "No problem! The food should be all ready in a few minutes!" She said with a gentle smile.
Lisa- "Come on I'll introduce you to some of my siblings!"

She started walking to the family room. I saw a few girls and guys that all looked younger than us except for one girl who looked older. There was 5 people total.

Lisa- "Guys this is Chase he's gonna hang out with us tonight. Chase that's Christina, Amy, Dani, Alex and Joey."
She said pointing to 3 girls and 2 boys.
Chase- "Hi it's nice to meet you guys!" I'm being so awkward. I can tell but I can't help it. I'm not shy I just suck at meeting new people.

Lisa went and sat on the couch and I sat next to her. I turned towards her to ask her who different people were since there were still a lot of people in the house I hadn't met.

Chase- "So it's your parents and you have those 5 siblings?"
Lisa- "No I actually have 10 siblings but the ones I introduced you too just happened to be the ones around. Haha"
Chase- "10 siblings? So your obviously not the youngest because some of the siblings you introduced me to looked a bit younger. But are you the oldest? Or somewhere in the middle?"
Lisa- "No I'm kind of pretty much in the middle. My oldest sibling is my brother Mike, then Christina, then Kathrine and then me. And then my younger siblings obviously come after."
Chase- "That's awesome! Do you like having a lot of family around?"
Lisa- "Yeah it's nice. I mean we can always get on each other's nerves but at the end of the day I know that I always have them to support me."

Our conversation got interrupted when Mrs. Cimorelli called us all out for dinner. I figured out that she also had extended family there as well.
We all got our food and sat down to say grace. Once we finished we all began to eat.
The food was so good. I hadn't had a home cooked meal like this before. It was amazing.

Lisa's POV

As soon as everyone finished eating Chase got right out of his seat and helped clear the tables. He picked up dishes, empty cups and cans of soda to help my mom out.
Oddly enough I feel like this wasn't to show me that he was a good guy. I just think that was what he felt like he should do, and that he just genuinely wanted to be polite.
Once he finished helping my mom we went into the other room where no one was sitting. I figured that now was a good time to get to know him better. We had already made small talk. Now I wanted to see if I could start to figure him out a little more.
