Lisa's POV

I was driving over to Chase's house but on my way I drove by the coffee shop and looked in the parking lot to see if his car was there. It's a super tiny parking lot so it's easy to see as you drive by and I saw that his car was gone. I pulled into his neighborhood and drove down to his house. When I pulled up I noticed that his car wasn't in the driveway. He always parks it in the driveway but I thought that maybe he would have pulled into the garage. I decided to go knock on his front door and there was no answer. I walked back to my car kind of disappointed.
What if he left with Taira? Maybe I pushed him too far to get him back. I don't want to lose him. I don't know what to do.
I decided to get back out of my car and go sit on his front step. He waited for me. The least I can do is sit out here and wait for him.

Chase's POV

After I left the cafe I was so frustrated with myself. I keep sticking with Lisa but she hasn't showed any interest in getting back with me since we broke up.
I decided to go the batting cages where I took Lisa. I thought that it would give me the chance to blow off some steam.
I got to the batting cages, rented a bat and got some tokens. I went to the cage with the speed I wanted and started hitting baseballs. I did this for about 45 minutes before I decided I should go home. I went to return the bat and headed home.
As I drove home I thought about if I made a mistake by saying no to Taira. I mean I know she isn't a great girl for me but at least I wouldn't be thinking about Lisa so much. Maybe when I get home I should call Taira. I just wish things were more clear about what I should do.
I pulled into my neighborhood and drove down the street. As I drove up to my house I noticed a familiar car in my driveway. It was Lisa. I pulled into the driveway still confused about what was going on. I stepped out of the car and saw Lisa sitting on the front step. When I started walking up to the front door she stood up.

Lisa's POV

I've been waiting on Chase's front porch for a while. Finally he pulled up and stepped out of his car. As he started to walk closer to me I stood up and gave him a small smile. He smiled back at me, clearly confused.

Chase- "Hey." He said friendly but definitely still confused.
Lisa- "Hey.."
Chase- "How long have you been here?"
Lisa- "About an hour." I said kind of embarrassed. He gave me a sweet smile though which made me feel better.
Chase- "I would have come straight home if I knew that you were waiting. What's up? Are you okay?"
I looked down at the ground for a second and then back up into his forest green eyes. I spoke quietly.
Lisa- "I miss you."
Chase- "I miss you too."
I stepped closer to him so that there was no longer space distancing us.
Lisa- "Ask me again."
Chase- "What? What do you mean?"
Lisa- "Ask me again. What you asked me outside of the restaurant. Ask it again."
Chase pressed his lips against mine. He kissed me slowly and passionately. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer while one of his hands rested on the side of my waist and the other rested on my back. I put my hands on the back of his neck.
I didn't realize that we were moving until my back hit his front door. I smiled through the kiss and Chase did the same soon after. He slowly pulled his soft lips away from mine.

Chase- "I'm in this to fight for us, to fight every single hard time with you not against you. But I've got to know that you want to do the same."
Lisa- "I know. I'm sorry it took me so long to figure it out. But I want to fight for us too." I paused for a second before I continued.
Lisa- "You came to me to prove that you weren't a bad guy. I just don't know how to prove to you that I'm not going to run any-"
He cut me off and crashed his lips against mine. I smiled and let out a small giggle. He pulled away and looked at me with a smirk planted on his face.
Chase- "What?" He said still smiling.
Lisa- "You know it's a little rude to just cut people off in the middle of speaking." I said jokingly.
Chase- "Okay I'm sorry. But its kind of hard when I've only gotten to kiss you twice in a few months. And besides you don't need to explain. Let's just take things slow and try to talk things out. We can do this. We'll figure it out."
Lisa- "We can do this." I smiled back at him and pecked his lips. We walked inside his house and hung out for a few more hours until it started to get late.

I got him back. He could have moved on and I thought he would have. Most guys would have left a long time ago. But he stayed. He chose me.
