something about this girl has got me in a daze because ever since i met her last night, i couldn't get her out of my head and nate is so sure that i'm in love with her but i don't really believe in love so that option is out the window.

after seventh period, i made my way over to eighth being thankful that this was the last period of the day then i could go home.
once i walked into the class, all eyes were on me but the only pair i recognized was kayden's.
"take a seat wherever you'd like, this is free period but you have to stay in the class and if you're going to be on your phone, let me know" the teacher said before kicking up his feet and reading a magazine.
i walked up to the desk kayden was sitting at but there was a girl sitting next to her.
"do you mind if i sit here?" i asked the girl and she got up then started mouthing words to kayden before moving to a seat behind us.
"hey" kayden said in a light voice.
"hey" i replied back before taking my phone out and going onto my music playlist and putting it on shuffle through my headphones.
me and kayden talked quietly to each other and would make jokes until the class was over.
she got up then walked out the class and i followed behind her trying to catch up and talk to her.
"hey, kayden" i said getting her attention as she stopped by some lockers.
"hey, what's up?" she said opening what i now figured is her locker.
"are you busy?" i asked stepping closer to get out of someone else's way.
"not at the moment, why?" she asked closing her locker.
"i was just wondering if you wanted to hang out today" i said and she smiled.
"yeah that seems cool" she said.
"yeah. alright i'll see you later" i said walking her up to her car then walking to my mine and driving out the parking lot.

"mom!!" i yelled walking into the door once flora dropped me off.
"in here, mija" she hollered back from her office.
i walked in there and saw her on her computer.
"what's up?" she asked.
"nothing" i said.
"oh, is it all right if i go to a friends house?" i asked.
"do i know this friend?" she asked putting her full attention on me.
"no but he's really cool and i'm sure his mom will be there anyways" i said trying to convince her.
"fine but kayden please be safe" my mother pleaded.
i squealed excitedly but then stopped myself and tried to act normal.
my mom bursted out in laughter at my previous actions since i haven't done that since i was in ninth grade.
i walked into the kitchen, grabbing hot cheetos and a small can of arnold palmer's arizona.
i then headed upstairs and dropped my backpack and started to pack a bag of clothes, knowing i'll most likely be spending the night at flora's house.
i made sure i packed everything for the night then headed downstairs, kissed my mom then left out the house.
i texted sammy for the directions then started up my car once he texted back and left to go to his house.
