while flora did my mom's hair, i did her makeup which consists of; foundation, concealer, blush, a nice and warm red color eyeshadow, and a reddish/orange color lipgloss since that was most times her go-to makeup look.

i finished with her makeup then waited for flora to finish her hair.

once she finished her hair, we got right to work on her outfit.

i picked out a pair of black red bottoms and flora picked out a red waffle bra dress that fit everyone of my mothers curves.

we got out so she could dress then when she said she was ready, we came in and i almost teared up because me and flora did an amazing job, if i do say so myself.

"mom, you gorgeous" i said lightly since i wanted to cry over mine and flora's great job but i didn't.

me and flora walked up to her and we got into a group hug and hugged the life out of each other.

"okay guys, don't make me cry before my date" she said then let us go and went to grab her a red clutch that would match her dress and purse.

"so who's the lucky guys anyway?" i asked sitting on her bed while she stuffed the important things she needed tonight in her clutch.

"his name is damian and he's really cute and he like 6'5 and did i mention that he's super cute. no, he's not cute, he's sexy" she said and looked like she was daydreaming.

"so where did you guys even meet?" flora asked sitting on the other side of her bed.

"we met at the farmers market. his mom dropped a potato and i helped her pick up the old one and got her new one and he said thank you for her since she can't speak well and then he asked me to dinner tonight" she said with a big smile.

"well, you better thank his mom for being a butterfinger and dropping the potato and don't forget to thank the potato too" i said which made all three of us laugh.

she pulled a pair of black earrings and showed them to us to get our approval.

we nodded our heads then we heard the doorbell.

mom went down first and we went after her.

she opened the door to a really handsome dude smiling at her while holding a bouquet of white and purple orchids.

"aw damian, these are gorgeous" she said and took them out of his hand once he handed them to her.

i grabbed them from her and laid them on the table so i could go back so i didn't miss anything.

"bye girls, have fun" she said kissing both our heads and linked our arms with damian then made her way out the house.

"bye mom" i yelled back to her since she was already in the driveway.

"bye" she yelled back again then got inside the car and i shut the door with smile on my face.

"so are you and nate on good terms" i asked while walking into the kitchen to find something to make.

"sort of. i mean he apologized but we said if we were friends" she said sitting on the kitchen table and eating some hot cheetos.

"oh. i'm gonna go call sammy" i said then made my way upstairs to grab my phone.

i called him and asked him if it was okay to come over with flora and he said yes.

i put on a sweater and my shoes i was already wearing then made my way back downstairs.

"let's go" i said grabbing my keys off the counter along with my backpack from off the couch.

"where to?" she asked hopping off the counter.
