i looked at kayden to see what she might be thinking by her facial expressions.

she said a light smile on her face that made me a little to know that she might not hate the date.

we finally got to top of the hill where the date was taking place and soon as she seen it how it was set up she smiled then looked at me.

"this looks amazing, sam" she said looking taken away by the sight.

we made small on our way to the wherever we were going and all i knew is that we were going up and we have been for quite some time.

i was pulled out of my thoughts when i seen a table that had those silver covers that use at restaurants, glasses of wine or whatever was in the cups, a vase of flowers and an led candle that flickered inside of a candle holder.

it was so beautiful and so thoughtful.

"this looks amazing, sam" i said looking at everything in amazement especially with the view we had, you could see almost see all of omaha from.

"let's sit" sam said then pulled out a hair for me to sit down.

i smiled and waited for him to say something.

he turned on some soft music and once he said we could eat, i uncovered my plate reveal a plate that had half spaghetti and half tacos.

i smiled once again then started to eat my food.

after dinner, sam pushed the table farther away so we could sit on a blanket he brought.

he laid down and i followed his actions.

we talked for a long time about random things and it was really to get to know him more than already do.

"oh, wow. it's late, i should probably get you home" he said and i nodded when in reality i didn't want this night to end.

i helped him clean up even though he told me i didn't have to.

we then headed back towards his car and on the way back i felt his hand sweep past mine.

i decided to build up some confidence so i slipped my hand into his and soon felt his grip on my hand get tighter.

i smiled while down at our hands then slightly started to swing them so it wasn't weird.

we got into the car and laid down everything in the backseat then he drove off to my house.

once we made it back, he got out and opened the door for me.

i smiled the billionth time tonight and got out then we walked hand in hand up to my porch.

"i had a lot of fun tonight, sammy, and i felt like i did learn more about you than i already knew" i said with a smile painted on my face.

"i had fun too and i definitely learned a lot about you too" he said then it started to get quiet.

i looked into his eyes then looked down since i didn't know what else to say or do.

i felt him lay his hand under my chin and pick it up. he started to lean in and i knew where this was going to go.

i pulled away and looked at him, "my mom told me to never kiss on the first date" i said looking and it was honestly so hard not to kiss because he looked so hot.

" --but i mean, who listens to parents anyway" i said then leaned in and placed my lips on his.

it felt kind of like magic and it wasn't those basic fireworks that people talk about in books and movies, it felt more like -- i can't describe it but it felt like pure bliss to me.

we pulled away and looked at each other in amazement.

"thanks again for tonight. i had a really good time" i told him once again then opened my door to go inside.

"bye sammy, have a good night" i told him then fully went inside and shut the door then had another moment like the one from earlier.

"so how was the date!!" my mom shouted scaring the living shit out of me.

"oh my gosh mom. don't do that" i said holding my heart from shock.

"i'm sorry sweetie but how did it go" she asked once again.

"it was amazing. he was amazing. the view we had was amazing" i exclaimed.

"wait, where's flora?" i asked seeing that she wasn't here.

"she said she had to go somewhere and that once you got home you needed to call her and tell her how it went" she told me and i nodded then told her story.

"aw, that's cute" she said after i finished telling her.

"well, i'm gonna go take a shower then head to bed" i told her then made my way up to my room.

i walked inside and flopped onto my bed and laid there for a bit then got up and went to take another shower.

after my shower, i got out and took off my makeup then went to go wash my face.

once i was done with everything i needed to do, i hopped into bed and turned on my tv to watch the throwback tv shows that they play on disney channel.

i got tired after three episodes of that's so raven so i recorded the rest of the shows that were the throwbacks then fell asleep.
