i woke up from my alarm clock and slammed my hand down on the button to have a few more minutes of sleep.

"get up, honey! it's here! you're finally graduating high school!" my mom cheered while i sat up looking around in disgust since i didn't feel like being up this early in the morning.

i rubbed my face in tiredness. i got up and made my way into my bathroom and took a quick shower and washed my face and did other things.

i put on a ribbed black cropped tank top, a black and white windbreaker, black nike leggings and a pair of b&w roshe runs.

i threw my hair up into a messy bun then walked downstairs into the kitchen to grab a something small to eat. "morning mom" i walked over giving her a kiss on the cheek. she smiled at me then returned the gesture.

"oh sweetheart, i know today is a very busy day but i was wondering if you could pick up your grandmother and aunt and cousins from the airport. i mean unless you want to cook" i grabbed my keys off the hook then ran outside because i did not want to cook a big breakfast.

i got into my car and plugged in my phone into my aux cord and jammed to the weeknd. i started up my car then headed to the airport.

once i got there, i parked my car and hopped out then made my way inside to see when my relatives were coming.

"kayden, is that you!" i looked up from my phone and saw my aunt holding a car seat. i got up and ran over to hug the living life out of her trying not to crush the baby. "i missed you so much" i hugged her tighter then looked over at the baby she had in car seat.

"is this the new baby mom was telling me about" she nodded her head and turned the car seat around for me to see a little chubby baby boy sleeping peacefully. "oh my gosh! he's even cuter in person" i gushed then hugged my other two cousins that were younger than me by a lot.

i then hugged my grandma and gave her multiple kisses then we headed out the airport to get out of people's way.

i helped my grandma into the front seat then made my way over to my side and got in then drove to my house.

"hi mom!" my mom said to my grandma as they hugged. my mom then hugged my cousins then my aunt and all three of them walked into kitchen to go have conversations.

i lay on the couch texting sammy while my cousins watch some princess show i've seen before (cue drake).

my baby💕😍: i miss you baby girl

babygirl❤️: i miss you too. are you coming over or am i?

my baby💕😍: doubtful that my mom will even let me leave. the family is here for grad day

babygirl❤️: alright i'll see you later then

i tossed my phone onto the couch and walked over to my baby boy cousin who was now crying his little head off.

i picked him up out of his  rocker that he was in and grabbed out a diaper and wipes since he felt all wet through his pants. i grabbed a onesie and pants from his bag and went upstairs.

i changed his diaper and clothes then headed back downstairs. "you are such a life saver" my aunt said then took him from me and walked into the kitchen.

"kay, do you know why we're here" my five year old cousin asks me. "you guys are here for my graduation" she looked confused then looked at her sister then back at me. "what's gradation" my three year old cousin asked looking just as confused as her sister. "it's somethings you'll have when your my age" i said knowing if i explained they still wouldn't get it. they nodded then went back to playing with their dolls and watching tv.

"kay kay, can you come get alex" my aunt called from the kitchen and i went in to grab a sleeping alex.

my phone start to ring which woke him and started to cry. i picked up my phone and sammy's name popped on to the screen. i declined his call and went upstairs.

i'll just call him back later.

sammy called me again and i declined his call once again so i could focus on putting alex back to sleep.

once he finally went back to sleep, i picked up my phone and called sammy.

"babe, are you mad at me" sammy says once the phone connects. "no, i just had to put my cousin to sleep and you woke him up" he apologizes then asks me if i'm coming over after graduation.

"baby, i don't know. my mom might want to spend time with me until i finally leave for los angeles" i smile at the thought of going to la since i hadn't been in almost eight years and i'm going with flora, sammy, and nate.

"i'm so excited! i can't wait to go to la with my baby for the first time!" i smile to myself and chuckle at his excitement. "i'm excited too" i tell him and we talk for a bit longer until i see that it's almost ten am so i tell sammy i'll see him at school and hang up to start getting ready.

"kay, your mom told me to tell you that breakfast is ready" my aunt tells me and i get up off my bed picking up alex and making my way downstairs.

once breakfast is over, i rush up to my room and begin my makeup which is just simply: photo ready foundation and concealer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and a light pink shade of lip tint.

i then pick out my outfit, which is a light pink with sparkly sequins romper and a pair of white sandal pumps.

i grab my cap and gown and my phone then head downstairs to meet my family at the door.

since there is seven of us we split into mine and my mom's car. it was my mom, my aunt, my grandma and alex in my mom's car and my two cousins in my car plus myself. duh.
