"kayden, wake up! you have half an hour!" i heard my mom yell from downstairs.

i got out of bed then tidied it up so i don't have to come back and clean since i'm going to flora's for the weekend.

i walked into my bathroom and did what i had to do then started with my makeup.

once i finished my makeup which only consisted of; filling in my eyebrows and lip balm, i picked out my outfit then put it on.

i looked in the mirror to see if i liked my outfit which was; a white tank top, a beige sweater (ignore the holes), a pair of white pants and a pair of timberlands.

i grabbed a white baseball cap to pair with the outfit then grabbed my backpack and made my way downstairs for breakfast.

"breakfast is ready. i made waffles; since i know you don't like pancakes, bacon, and eggs; just the way you like them" my mom sung sounding all happy.

"what's the special occasion?" i asked while taking a bite of my waffle.

"i ju--" she cut herself then looked like she was in a trance.

i then heard footsteps coming down the stairs, "good morning, sweetheart" damian said coming up to kiss my mom.

"kayden, eat your food before it gets cold" my mom said then gave damian a kiss and went to make him a plate.

i finished my food and just when i got up to put my plate in the sink, i heard my phone ring.

i picked it up and seen it was a text from sammy.

jack frost❄️: come outside. i'm here

kaylizzle😎: you know i could have just drove myself to school but i'll be out in a minute.

i then put my plate in the sink and grabbed all my stuff then ran outside after saying goodbye to damian and my mom.

"hey" i said with a smile jumping into the car.

"hey" sammy replied back to me then drove away from my house.

"so what's up with the random pick up" i said to him while unlocking my phone to text flora.

"i don't know, i was just on my way to school and just came by" he said then turned up the music to some really bad music stations.

"may i?" i said laughing at the bad music. "definitely" he said then left the radio to me.

i grabbed his aux cord and plugged my phone into it.

we pulled up to the school and once he parked, i hopped out but made sure i had everything then made my way into school.

i walked over to my locker and put stuff i didn't need at the moment inside of it.

time passes and soon enough, it is time to go to class.

sammy and i walk into class and let this today roll over. thank goodness it's friday.

after school, i made my over to my locker to finally end this and go home to binge watch netflix until four in the morning.

just as i was headed to my car, i heard someone call my name, who i instantly recognized was sammy.

"kayden! wait up!" i heard him call so i stopped in my tracks and turned around waiting for him to say what he has to say.

"hey, what's up?" i said to him once he finished his jog over to me.

"i know we haven't known each other long and i would like to get to know you better and i was wondering would you go on a date with me tonight?" sammy said looking me straight in the eye and waiting for my answer.

"yeah! i'd definitely like to do that" i said smiling probably like an idiot.

"okay, cool. i'll pick you up from your house at seven" he said left to go to his car.

that's when it hit me that he was my ride to school.

i started running after him, "sammy, wait! you're my ride!" i yelled running over to his car with him.

he got in and i mirrored him the same.

"this usually doesn't happen in the movies" he said buckling his seat belt then roaring the car to life.

"what doesn't happen in the movies?" i asked while plugging my phone into the the aux cord.

"well, i've never seen, where the guy asks out the girl then gives her ride" he said pulling out the parking lot and driving off in the direction of my house.

"i guess if that was to happen, it would just ruin the excitement of seeing the girl after you ask her and before the date. if that makes any sense" i said texting flora, asking her where she was today since i hadn't seen her.

"i guess it does, in a way" he said then it turned into dead silence so i finally turned on my music.

once we pulled up to my house, i got out and thanked sammy then told him i'd him at eight.

i walked into the house and instantly felt like the people in the movies, where they drop their bags, bite their lip and slide down the door in happiness and satisfaction.

after the moment i had, i grabbed my phone from my pockets then texted my mom to see where she was since it was dead silent.

kayden (bee bop🐝): mom, where are you?

mom👩🏻😜: i'm at the farmers market with damian. what do you feel like eating tonight?

kayden (bee bop🐝): anything is fine

mom👩🏻😜: i'll be home in twenty

i put my phone back into my pocket then made my way into the kitchen to make ramen noodles.

after my food finished cooking, i grabbed some chips and juice then sat down and went on my phone while eating.

i called flora after eating and told her about my date and she told me she'd be over in five.

i then went to text sammy to see what to wear and once he told me what I should wear, i knew which outfit i wanted to wear tonight.
