I remember waking up and there were voices in the living space. I knew it was about the wedding because when I walked out they got quiet. I laughed and sat down next to Vic, I looked over and Tony and smiled, I placed my hand on my belly and I felt Vic put his hand on mine.
“So guys, I think it’s time we talk about the wedding party.” Vic said and they all looked at me.
“Um, Of course you guys know Esther is my Maid of Honor, My best friend Sophia is my Brides maid.” I said to them and they all looked at me in suspense of Vic’s choices. “No, That’s Vic’s choice’ I laughed.
They looked at Vic and Vic cleared his throat. “I love you Tony and Jaime, but my little brother is going to be right behind me.” He said and Mike smiled. “Tony and Jaime you will be behind him” He finished,
“Okay, good, we got that settled” I said
We sat there talking about the wedding. It was coming up fast. 2 more shows and we will be going home, then their taking a break until I have my baby.
“Vic, we have to talk about the babies name….” I said and he smiled at me.
“Of course, I like the name Liza” He said to me.
“What if it isn’t a girl?” I said back to him
“Then I guess we can name him Michael?” He said.
I shook my head “I don’t like them. I love Melodie Rose for the girl’s name and Elliott Alexander as the boy’s name” I said.
“Let him pick a name” Mike said and I looked at him.
“No mike, I like those names” Vic said to me “But I want to changed the boys name to Alexander Vincent” He finished.
“I guess we can discuss it later” I said and he kissed my head.
Mike and Tony were watching us and laughing at our attempt to have a perfect relationship. We both knew it was impossible, things occurred and Vic and I chose to ignore what happened. I love him and I don’t ever want to repeat what happened. I just hope Vic Loves me as much as I love him.
“Guys…” I heard Jaime whisper
We looked over at him and he was looking out the window.
“There’s a tornado coming…” He said and I dug my fingers into Vic’s arm.
“Darling, calm down, we’ll protect you.” He said, I let go of him so he can look out the window.
“Fuck!” Tony said. We felt the bus stop and the driver told us to get off the bus and into the building we were parked behind. I got up and vanished to the back.
“Courtney!” I heard Vic call but I sat on the bed holding my animals. I looked up and saw him, he grabbed my wrist and I grabbed the picture of my brother I had, Vic picked up my animals and we raced off the bus. Tony held the door open and when finally got inside we heard the wind pick up and we heard howling. We ran to the basement and Vic helped me to sit down, he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him, Jaime had Esther and Tony and Mike were between us and the driver was on the other side of the room.
We heard banging and I flinched every time.
“Baby, It’ll be okay” Vic Whispered into my ear and I calmed down a little.
No one would talk, it was silence, and all we could hear was outside. I was scared but I was with the 5 people that I loved dearly.
