I woke up the next morning not with Vic passed out still. “Must have stayed out really late” I said to myself running my hand through his slightly curled brown hair, I noticed that his hat was still placed perfectly on his head, I knew how he was with his hats, I knew how his hair was placed when he took off his hat, and it covered one spot that he doesn’t ever talk about. But he was sleeping, who would see him besides me and the guys?
His arm was stretched out across me and to be honest I was still really tired, so I curled up close to him and it was almost reaction when he tightened his arm around me. I felt safe like this. I fell back asleep again.
A few hours later we were woken up to a loud bang. Vic sat up and looked at me.
“Babe, are you okay?” He asked me as I sat up.
“Yeah, But what was that noise?” I asked him. He looked at me and got up quickly still in his stage clothes. He opened the door and gently closed it.
A few minutes later he came back in and looked at me. “Babe, their just playing a game, would you like to join them? We have a few more hours till we arrive at the next venue.” He asked me. I got up and walked over to the door to him, I nodded and we walked out to the front with the rest of the guys.
Tony was the first to get up and jump on me I stumbled backwards and Vic caught me.
“Tony, please be careful. Remember she is pregnant.”Vic said and looked at him.
“I am so sorry, It’s just I still haven’t gotten used to the fact that Vic is going to be a dad.” Tony said and sat back down next to mike. Esther and Jaime were across from them and I looked at her and smiled.
“How are you feeling?” Esther asked me as she smiled back at me.
“I’m fine; I’m just waiting for that morning sickness and stuff to start soon.” I said, she nodded and Vic and I sat down on the floor. I didn’t really want to play so I just placed my head on his lap and stretched out onto Tony.
“uh, Vic, isn’t that how she got pregnant to begin with?” Mike said jokingly.
“Shush Mike” Vic said
“I just want to lay down Mike.” I said and laughed quietly. I loved mike to death, but as a brother in law, that’s what he would be to me. I looked at Tony and smiled; he smiled back and looked at Vic as he tickled my feet.
“Fuck!” I shouted as the other guys attacked me, well not attacked but like we got into another tickle fight. I was dying of laughter until we felt the bus stop and the driver walk back a little to us.
“We’re here, guys” He said and walked back towards the front.
“Oh thank god” I whispered to myself. Vic picked me up and carried me to the back leaving everyone else to get dressed. He placed me on the bed and held out his hand.
I looked up at him and said “what is it?” He gave me a look and I knew he wanted his sweater back.
“I wear that for sound checks” He said and I pulled off the sweater revealing my Mayday Parade Tank Top, I handed it to him and got up to change clothes myself.
I changed into a pair of my skinny jeans and pulled on a shirt of Vic’s and one of his hats. I loved wearing his clothes and besides he didn’t mind at all. Finally we were all ready to go.
We walked off the bus and the guys helped me to the venue.
“Guys, I know I’m pregnant, but it’s only been a few weeks. I can walk” I said. The guys didn’t listen to that, Vic still had grip on my hand and I liked it when he did. We got inside the venue and the guys grabbed their guitars, Jaime grabbed his Bass and Mike took his spot at his throne as he liked to call it. At sound checks, I didn’t take off Tony’s hat because there wasn’t a fan to steal it. They took their spots on stage and started to play Hell Above. This always made me smile, they were giving it their all, and it brought me back to when I met them back in high school. They finished sound check and got off stage. We still had maybe 15 minutes before the show started and we were goofing around with the other band.
The fact that I still laughed like a high school fan girl at these 4 guys brought tears to my eyes. I loved them so much especially my Fiancée Vic. I loved him more than anything and just one silly dream brought him to me.
