I tossed and turned all night. Somehow I would close my eyes and something in my head told me to bolt up and check on Vic. He was sleeping peacefully; his arms were still tangled around me. Something deep down inside me knew that this was right. I knew that if I was doing anything else but making music, I wouldn’t have met the man of my dreams. At one point during the night I played with his hair, I would twirl his long curls around my fingers. I loved his hair, I loved how soft and curly it was how he could anything with it and it would look perfect. I was personally jealous of his hair. My hair was straight and boring. My eyes were tired of fighting the sleep that was about to overwhelm me. My head fell directly onto his chest, waking him up a little. I could feel him smile as he kissed my lips gently and he adjusted so that his arm was wrapped around me again.

I woke up a few hours later. It was maybe 2 in the afternoon. The door was shut and I could hear laughing and playing downstairs, I didn’t mind this, because it was my fault. I fell asleep too late. I got up and walked downstairs rubbing my eyes.

“Oh hey, darling” I heard Vic say as he got up from the floor in the living room and walked over to me. Next thing I knew I was on the ground, tackled by none other than the famous Jaime.

“Ugh, really” I said slightly laughing.

“yup, just cause we love you” Just as soon as he said that Tony, Mike and Vic jumped on us.

“Esther!” I screamed “Come get them, please!” I yelled

I heard snickering from down the hall. “Nope, you are on your own!” I heard her finally say. I then suddenly felt like they were planning this the entire time I was asleep.

“Okay, okay, what do you guys want?” I asked showing a sign that I gave up.           “Liquor” Mike said “No, sweets” Tony protested.

“Screw that, just watch Lion King with us and we’ll get up” Jaime jumped in.

“Ugh, no guys, we want something else. Remember?”  Vic said with a smile ready to cross his lips.

“Oh yup, come on tour with us!” Tony shouted.

I died laughing, “That’s all you wanted?” I said still laughing. They got off of me and I sat up. “Of course we will” I said, “But, For the first week, I can’t, personal things” I finished.

I looked at Vic and smiled. He winked at me and walked by me. I knew that he knew what I was doing for that week. We knew what each other was doing before we even said anything. We loved each other enough to know that we are connected as one.

Days flew by. We spent every moment together.  Playing, joking, and being together.  Thanks to mike we had the liquor to enjoy each other’s company.

Tony jumped on the couch. “Guys, we have another day until we leave for tour. I am readddddy” He said dancing around on the couch. He was drunk.

                “Turtle!” Vic shouted.

“Stop it dude!” Jaime said grabbing his arm and laughing. Tony was falling all over Jaime.

“Damn Tony.” I said walking in the room. Tony looked at me and smiled “Vic you are lucky, this girl is perfection wrapped in a dress.” He said patting Vic’s shoulder.

I stuttered and Vic grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him. Tony came closer to my face, I looked away

“Vic, please, he’s making me uncomfortable” I whispered. Vic pulled me behind him and grabbed Tony’s arm.

“Dude stop, You are drunk and you are scaring her.” He said and shot Jaime a look.

Jaime knew what this meant, “Come on Tone Tone, let’s go to sleep, Tour tomorrow” Jaime said and guided him to his room. The last thing we heard from him was “Woo! Tour!”

Vic and I walked up to our room after Jaime left Tony and Mike’s. Everyone was going to sleep. The boys were leaving tomorrow and my heart was breaking because of this.

I crawled into bed without changing my clothes and I instantly cuddled up to Vic. We didn’t want to fall asleep. We laid there talking about our wedding, talking about what we wanted to do. I loved him and he loved me. I felt it in my heart that was true love. That Vic would never leave my side. He would lift our hands in the air intertwined and he would kiss my head and whispered “Forever darling”. I smiled and snuggled up closer to him.
