I woke up and smiled as I looked over at Vic, he put on a great show last night and he was so excited when they got off stage. I was really proud of them, but I was also sad. Today was the last show of this tour, and then they would go on break until I had this baby. Which they monitor how much I sleep, and how much I eat. I got out of bed carefully and walked to the front, Tony was already sitting there staring out the window.

“Tony?” I mumbled, he turned to me and smiled.

“What is it?” He asked me, I sat next to him and hugged him.

“I don’t get it. You know I’m engaged to Vic and happy with him, but you, you still love me.” I said to him.

He looked at me “No, stop. I loved you before that ever happened, I walked off the bus and something about you had me in a daze. But then you started hanging around with Vic and I couldn’t handle taking you away from what made you smile.” He said

I kissed his cheek and smiled “Tony, I love you too, but as a close best friend, you should have said all this a while ago, before it got this far.”

He got quiet and nodded his head. I turned and I saw Vic standing at the start of the hall “I heard everything. Is this all true Tony?” Vic questioned, Tony nodded his head. “Yes, all of it” He mumbled.

“Guys, I made my mind up, Tony, I love you but I’m engaged to Vic.” I said and stood up “Vic wake up the other guys, you guys have a show tonight, practice time” I finished and walked past him kissing his cheek. He woke up the other guys and I slowly started getting dressed. Still wearing Vic’s clothes till I can get home to buy some I can fit into. I walked down the hallway and Tony placed his hat on my head, I looked up at him and smiled. This was my new best friend and I could tell he would be happy with just being around me.

“Oh, Tony’s got a crush!”  Mike yelled.

I laughed at him “Nope, just best friends” I winked at Tony and walked over to Vic.

“Still wearing my Key Street Hoodie?” He questioned me. I looked at him and smiled “Duh, it’s comfortable, and it fits” I joked with him.

Their last show was in North Carolina, the place I grew up as a child. The bus was already parked so I got off the bus and smiled.

“I love this air!” I said as Mike walked off the bus.

                “What? Why?” He asked me

“I was born and raised here, this is my home state.”I said smiling at him.

He looked at me and shook his head. “Courtney, you’re hurting Tony”

I looked up at him “Mike, stop it, Tony knows we will only ever be best friends, we talked this morning. “ I said and sat on a nearby curb.

He nodded at me and Vic, Jaime, Tony and Esther walked off the bus.

“Last show guys! Let’s go!” Vic shouted. He knew that I was from NC, and that was why he was so excited.

We only had a few hours until the show started and we were ready for it. They went on to start their sound check and it was great. They were full of energy like always of course, but they seemed more active on stage today. It was their last show; they had to end this tour with a bang. I mean they did yesterday but tonight would be better.

The next 3 hours went by fast. The guys were getting ready for their set and I was instructed to stand side stage and take it easy. Of course I had to listen because Tony was close to this side of the stage.

They each hugged me until Vic got to me; he kissed me softly “I love you” he whispered into my ear. I smiled at him and he turned and got on stage.

They played hard. This last show was great. The last song was hold on till may and when it was finished Vic stepped back threw his guitar to the tech on Jaime’s side and he stepped back to the mic.

“Guys, Thank you for an amazing last show! Thank you for coming out and we will see you soon!” He said and they walked off.

“Good show guys!” I said as they walked off. They walked me back to the bus and I sat down on the couch. They walked off to help pack up the gear. I sat in silence messing with my phone. I was going the pictures I took during this tour. I loved it. Now we have to head home.

30 minutes later they came back on laughing and playing around. I was glad that all the stress was pushed to the side now.

“Let’s go home now!” They all said together and we laughed. It would be awhile before we got back home to San Diego so we wouldn’t need to pack up yet, but knowing me I would get bored and do that anyways, but that wasn’t important it was time for me to sit back and relax with my fiancée and my new  family.
