We finally got to the venue and I stretched my arms.
“Ah! Finally here” I said and went to the back to change. I knew I couldn’t wear much of my clothes and so I grabbed Vic’s key street sweater and pulled it on. I put on my lose fitting skinnies and I didn’t feel like fixing my hair so I pulled on Vic’s snapback. He hated when I wore it but he’s about to play a show, he wouldn’t even care.
“Babe, we have to go now!” I heard Vic called as he walked to the back; He opened the curtain and smiled at me “Comfortable?” He laughed.
I nodded my head and grabbed my phone; I put it in my pants pocket. He looked at me weird as I walked past him; he grabbed my arm and looked at me.
“You never bring your phone with you when we go to play a show. What’s going on?” He asked me. I looked up at him “Vic, don’t become insecure. I love you. One of my best friends from high school is planning on being at this show.” I said to him.
“Who?” He asked
“Her name’s Sophia. I love her to death and she helped me a lot, she helped me realize that I wanted to do was be in a band like you guys.” I said, he let go of my arm and smiled
“The girl that’s going to be in your wedding party” He asked me. I nodded my head and he pulled me to him and kissed me softly.
“Stop it! She’s already pregnant” Tony yelled down the hall, I pulled away and laughed. Tony smiled at me and I could feel the feelings he had for me again. I smiled back and he blushed. Personally, I thought Tony was adorable, but I was engaged to Vic, and I loved him. I thought Tony realized this by now.
“Come on now!” Jaime said and we walked to the front, we got off the bus and walked into the Venue. I was ready for this. The guys rushed around getting things ready, we sat back in the dressing room until they called the guys for sound check, We followed them and at this point I wasn’t feeling good, I was dizzy, hurting, and had a major headache. I didn’t want to tell the boys because Vic would cancel the show to look after me and I didn’t want that. I decided to deal with it.
They go on for sound check and I stood side stage watching them, everything around me was getting blurry. Tony looked over and stopped what he was doing, Vic kept singing and Tony never told him, he walked towards to me and as I feel he caught me, Before my eyes could fully close I saw Vic drop his guitar and mic and he ran towards me. When my eyes shut, I heard him scream “Courtney! No!” after that everything went silent.
