Finally it was time for the guys to take stage, Vic walked by me and grabbed my hand, he pulled me on stage and I simply followed him. He gave Tony a look and he stood close by us holding his guitar.
“Hey guys!” Vic started yelling into the crowd “Ya’ll know my fiancé.” He finished. The crowd went crazy. I didn’t know if they accepted me yet or if they were still mad. I couldn’t tell. Finally I saw Jaime run across the stage and run back with Esther behind him. The guys started playing songs, I sang into the mic with Vic and Esther joined in with Jaime.
They finally got to their last song “Bulletproof Love” Vic knew I loved this song, He sang a verse and I sang the other, we would switch. The band knew this was the song that brought me to them.
The show was over, Vic turned to the audience and said “Thank you for coming out, we love you all and this night was amazing! I want to tell you guys that I will be a father. My beautiful fiancé is pregnant” Again the crowd went crazy. This time I knew they were mad at me but happy for him. Vic grabbed my hand and led me off stage. They were the closing show of the night so we headed back to the bus. I yawned and Tony looked at me.
“Tired?” He asked me looking at me, I nodded. Tony looked at Vic and Vic led me back to our room. He laid me back on the bed and laid down next to me. I was out in a few minutes.
The next morning I woke up and I heard talking. I kissed Vic’s forehead and walked out to the front of the bus. I saw Tony, Mike and Jaime sitting around talking. I knew something was happening. They looked up at me and they smiled.
“Courtney…” Tony said looking at Mike. Mike nodded towards me.
“Yeah Tony” I asked him, he got up and walked towards me.
“You haven’t hung out with us since you and Vic got engaged.” He said grabbing my arm and pulling me towards the table which was covered in the blanket.
“We can hang out now” I smiled at them. They nodded at me and Jaime cleared his throat.
I looked up at him and he smiled “We’re going to play a game.” He said and pulled the blanket from over it. It was Candyland. I was excited to play this. I nearly jumped for the red guy before they could reach it.
“Well, we all know whose game this is” Jaime laughed at me. I looked up at them and blushed. “Let’s play!” I shouted.
Tony covered my mouth “SHH! Esther and Vic will wake up. “They all whispered to me.
I looked around and smiled at them.
We played for a few hours until Vic and Esther came out of the back and joined us. We already had everything cleaned up and we were just sitting there talking.
“Hey babe” Vic said kissing my head and sitting down next me. Esther sat next to Jaime. Jaime, Tony, Mike and I Exchanged glances and we had to hold back laughter.
We then spent the next hours talking about the previous shows and the one that we were going to tonight. We were headed to Pittsburgh and it was a long drive. We were all prepared for the long ride.
