Courtney's P.O.V

I drop my phone while hearing those words.

"No. NO NO NO!" I scream at the top of my lungs falling on the floor crying.

Cooper runs in and leans down besides me.

"Baby girl what's wrong?" He asks pulling me up from the floor.

I can't even say the words 'my mothers dead'.

"Drive me to my house" I say sniffling.

"Why your dad might be there and he'll hit you" Cooper asks sounding confused.

"Listen,  just drive me please" I say while standing up and heading out the door.

He follows me and we hop into the car. We finally arrive at my house and there's caution signs everywhere, cops, firefighters, ambulance, and the FBI. I hop out of the car slamming the door behind me.

"What's up with your house?" Cooper asks.

I still can't say the words.

"Young lady who are you and what are you doing here?" A police officer asks me.

"This is my house ok, now let me go in my freaking house" I snap at him.

I walk past him brushing my shoulder against him. Suddenly I see my mom on the floor, blood all around her. Tears build up in my eyes.

"MOM NO NO!!!" I scream running up to her dead body on the floor. Why? Why my mom! Suddenly a cop yanks me away from her.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MOTHER!" I beam at the cop shoving him away.

"Listen young lady don't put all your attitude on me I'm here to help you and your brother, your mom was stabbed to death by who we think is your father" The cop says.

"Where's my little brother?" I say with fear in my words.

"We have him at the police station answering some questions you might have to go with him" The cop says dragging me into a police car.

We drive till we arrive there and he takes me to a room with my little brother. I see a huge scar across his face and immediately run up to him hugging him.

"Sissy!!" He screams with a smile on his face.

"Are you okay my baby?" I ask while crying.

"I saw it sissy I watched mommy die" he whispers in my ear.

The FBI dude walks in and asks us to sit down.

"Hello Courtney and Junior I'm here to ask you both some questions" He says while taking out a notebook.

"Ok" I whisper.

He asks us questions about mom and dad for about two hours.

"Now I need to know where you both will be staying now that your parents aren't here to take care of you" He asks putting away his notebook.

All I can think about is cooper. I really don't have anywhere else to go but with cooper. Junior will have to come with me.

"Uh, My boyfriend Cooper Wade Fisher" I say still crying.

He nods his head and lets us go. I take out my phone calling cooper to make sure he's ok with this. I explain to him what happens and he comes to pick us up. He finally arrives and jumps out of the car giving me a big hug.
