Hermione felt incredibly bored, watching the match. The Demigod Destroyers really did destroying the Slytherins, though that halftime show... that had been interesting. She wasn't sure at all where that had come from. As she walked back, all Ron could talk about was the match, and bashing the Slytherins. But when he saw the ring glittering on Reyna's hand at the after party (not to mention the fact that Draco was there, with her wherever she went), he had lots more to say.

"MARRYING Malfoy? You're MARRYING him?"

"Yes," Reyna said, eyes glinting at him stonily, "I am." Draco, at her side, smiled a little at her stubborn look.

"How could you do THAT? You're barely eighteen!"

Beside Ron, Harry looked nervous. After all, he was planning on asking Ginny to marry him in about two weeks. Hermione decided that now was the time to step in.

"I'm very glad you've patched things up between you," she started, "and I'm happy for you both."

Reyna smiled at her. "Thanks, 'mione."

"Anytime."

Meanwhile, across the room, Alexos was looking at Piper with an expression Hermione didn't like to see. Clearly, he didn't know that George and Piper were going out, though how he was still oblivious was anyone's guess. Hermione was glad he was over Reyna, but starting to fancy his best mate's girlfriend wasn't a good situation to be in.

Hazel was talking glumly to Annabeth across the room, probably about the Yule Ball. It was, after all, in three days. Hermione felt sad that Hazel was so alone right now, after the breakup with Frank, although she wasn't sure whether that had been Hazel's decision or not.

Leo and Calypso were, of course, talking and laughing as usual, and Hermione was glad of that. It made her happy. While the circumstances weren't ideal, Hermione knew that eventually, things would turn out alright. For everyone.

And hey, guys, sorry it's so short. A lot of stuff happened this weekend that I wasn't prepared for.... but the next chapter will be longer. I promise. And full of "da feels" lol. Any last-minute ship ideas????
