Jordan sighed. To say he was sad was an understatement. His friends had all been calling him a copy cat the whole week, and it was mean. Jordan had always wanted to be a wizard or be a blood Mage, but when he started it, Tucker, James, and Sonja had all called him a copycat and teased him for it. But the strange thing was, Tom didn't. Tom was Jordan's best friend, and even though he was a Dianitee, Jordan knew he was a good man. But Tom was usually the one to start and or encourage the teasing, and yet, he was trying to make them stop. This confused Jordan to no end, and so, deciding to take a walk, he shrugged on his normal clothes and left his fortress, being careful when he climbed the stairs down the mountain, past the giant dong his friends had built when he was out on a mission, and walked towards Dagrun.
When he reached it he sighed sadly. Dagrun used to be a very beautiful village, but had a terrible King. King Helgirnd. He was Ianite's son, Ianite being Jordan's goddess, and when his father disappeared, he took over as King. He was (in some people's opinion,) a terrible King. The town sat in ruins, after Lady Ianite had accidentally fallen victim to her subconscious, a taint monster had appeared at the edge of the town. It kept getting closer and bigger until one day, the taint had covered most of Dagrun. When the Heros saved Ianite from her subconscious the taint receded, and most of the taint was gone, though some of the houses were broken.
Jordan walked into the village, looking around. He walked along the familiar but broken mushroom road, hands in his pockets and head down. It was always so quite here, hardly nothing went on in Dagrun. That's why Jordan liked it. Jordan lifted his head, and before him sat his old home. Jordan hated coming back here, it made him feel terrible for some reason. He carefully walked up the stairs, and pushed open the door, sneezing a bit as the dust hit his nose. Jordan smiled a bit, remembering some of the times he and the gang hungout, and the small talks he and Tom would have. While he was walking, Jordan heard something crunch under his foot.
Jordan looked down, and saw an old picture. Lighting a torch, he saw what it was. It was of he and Tom in their old deminsion, a world called Mianite. Jordan smiled, even before Mianite they had been best friends. Had grown up together. Though when Jordan showed up on the beach and he saw Tom, he was saddened to see that Tom had forgotten about Jordan, and couldn't remember their long lost friendship. Jordan was kind of glad though, he had a crush on Tom, and maybe it was a good thing Tom didn't remember him, because it gave him a reason to give up trying to win his heart. But of course, just when Jordan had started to get over him, Tom remembered, and just like that they were friends again.
Jordan put the picture into his inventory. He looked around at the things he had a left behind. There were bits and pieces of his broken jet pack lying across the room, and Jordan's first rapier sat proudly in a case, not a single scratch. Jordan remembered how long it took him to make and how frustrated he was when he found out he used to much quartz to put anything else on it. "You sure made me mad." Jordan whispered, chuckling. He looked away from the case, and saw another photo. A tear rolled down his cheek. It was the day before the war in Mianite. Everyone was smiling, and laughing. They were all so happy and content with their lives. The Diantee's and the Mianitee's were getting along, and then, nothing was the same. The next day the Diantee's attacked. All except Tom. Tom had been given orders to kidnap Jordan, and even though he didn't succeed, he almost did. "Hey." A tired voice said from the doorway from the house. Jordan jumped, ridding his face of tears, and turning around to see Tom.
"T-Tom! What are you doing here!?" Jordan asked, confused.
"Well, it's hard to work when you have so much on your mind." Tom chuckled tiredly. Jordan nodded. He understood the feeling. "So what are you doing out here?" Tom asked, "I know you hate this place." Tom shrugged, looking around.
"I don't know. I guess I just wanted to get away from the teasing for a day." Jordan sighed, sitting down on a wooden stool. Tom sighed, going to sit on the ground by Jordan.
"I'm sorry." Tom mumbled.
Jordan looked at Tom, surprised. "What for?" Jordan asked.
"For always teasing you. I know it's mean, I just can't help it. Your to adorable to not tease." Tom said, mumbling the last bit so Jordan wouldn't hear.
"Y-You think, think I'm adorable?" Jordan mumbled, blushing like mad.
"You heard that?" Tom mumbled awkwardly, looking down. Jordan nodded.
"Tom do you, do you like me?" Jordan stuttered again, blushing harder if it was even possible. Tom nodded. He couldn't lie to Jordan even if he wanted to. And Jordan new it. Jordan blushed again. "I like you to." Jordan mumbled, smiling like a dork. Toms head shot up.
"R-Really!?" Tom said, and it was his turn to stutter. Jordan nodded, smiling wider. Tom smiled to, jumping up to Jordan's height and kissing him. The kiss didn't last long, probably 10 seconds, but that was enough for Sonja to get a picture. They heard a squeal, and turned towards the door to see James, Tucker, and Sonja standing there. Accomplished smiled on their faces.
"What are you guys doing here?" Jordan asked, his happy mood turning a bit sad.
"We were here to see you two get together of course! I told you guys my plan would work!" Sonja sang, dancing around James and Tucker.
"Your plan!?" Jordan said, flabbergasted. Sonja nodded proudly, a smirk on her face.
