Mc sighed as she sat alone in the empty chat room. No one had been on at all today as everyone had business to take care of. Yoosung had classes, Zen was going over a new script with his director, Jaehee was doing assistant things for Jumin, and Jumin was doing employee things for Mr. Chairman. And Seven...well, Mc really didn't want to speak to him currently. They winced as memories of a message conversation they and Seven had privately.

Mc: Hello, 707

707: Hey, Mc~! Did you eat?

707: I had my usual.

707: Honey Buddah Chips and PH D. Pepper

Mc: No. I haven't eaten yet. I was waiting for you to get online...

Mc fiddled nervously with their sweater sleeves. Here it goes, they were going to tell him! Tell Seven that they...were in love with them. Taking a deep breath, Mc began to type an answer to Seven's un-spoken, or un-typed, question.

Mc: look, Seven. I've been hiding this from you for a while now but I think it's time I should tell you...

Mc: I'm in love with you, Seven

It took a while for Seven to answer, and when he did Mc quickly read the message, hoping against hope that he felt the same way. But luck was not on their side.

Seven: Oh really? Cause I remember you saying that exact same thing to Yoosung before you reset. Don't think I'm not aware of that. I know that if I were to recuperate your feelings you would play my route, then reset and play someone else's. Isn't that right, Mc?

Mc gasped, putting a hand to their mouth. Mc never expected Seven to say that in an easily hackable, though private, chatroom. And besides, they wouldn't have reset if Yoosung hadn't of told them to. Mc remembered it clearly.

"Hey, Mc! I'm home. How was work?" Yoosung asked, sitting down his stuff and planting a soft kiss on their cheek.

"Amazing! Jaehee stopped by today to pick up a few things for Jumin. She looked horrible so I had her stay until my lunch break, and we went out to a nearby cafe. I made sure she laughed a lot. She looked like she needed it. I hope Jumin eases up on her..." Mc sighed, pouting. Jaehee was so nice! She didn't deserve Jumin's constant over working and invasion of privacy! (I'm on Jaehee's route rn so I'm v defensive). Yoosung chuckled and grabbed Mc's hands, rubbing the back of them with his thumbs to calm them down.

"Everyone wishes for that, dear. But this is Trust Fund Kid we're talking about. He'll never ease up on her. Even if it's been a couple of years and business isn't booming as much as it was." Yoosung laughed at Mc's annoyed face. They never really did like them calling Jumin 'Trust Fund Kid', no matter how annoyed they got with him, he was still an important part of their little family, even if one of them hadn't been seen in two years...

The thought of Seven made them tear up. Seven...where did you go? "Thinking about Seven again?" Yoosung asked, frowning. He hated seeing his partner cry. Damn that jerk, Seven! Leaving them all alone.

"I-I'm sorry...It's just that...I-I-" Mc was cut off by Yoosung placing a gentle kiss on their lips.

"Hey, it's fine love. But there's something you're not telling me. You've been acting weird for a while now. What's going on?" Yoosung asked, sitting Mc on the couch after quieting them to the living room. Mc avoided eye contact but allowed a sigh to escape their mouth. They wouldn't be able to hide this from Yoosung forever...perhaps it would be better to tell him.

"I...I haven't been completely honest about how I ended up in the apartment. Nobody knows about how I really got there besides V, Jumin and...Seven. You see, I have this 'power'. It allows me to reset time to whenever I want...but I've never actually used it. Rika had that power as well," Mc paused, wiping some tears from their face. "Before we got together, we were all in a different timeline. Seven and I were...were married. And we lived with his brother. Jumin and Jaehee didn't have to work as much, and Zen wasn't as narcissistic. Basically everything was way better then. You weren't addicted to games, either. Since Rika was alive then, you managed to become very successful. But after what she did to V...she reset. But she had reset too many times already and she passed due to that in this timeline. And you all...didn't remember anything. Unknown...he was the only one who remembered. So that's why he contacted me and led me to the apartment and let me get in."

"Unknown? The guy who almost made me go blind?" Yoosung asked, getting a nod from Mc in return. Yoosung made a motion for them to continue.

"Well, I didn't remember at first either. It wasn't until I saw Seven at the party that I remembered. I had almost broke down. How could I have forgotten my husband? Or the amazing life I lived before? But I was also in love with you...so I stayed quiet. And I do love you very much, but..." Mc gave Yoosung a watery and apologetic smile. "I can't seem to let go of him," Mc sighed. "I'm sorry for not telling you all of this sooner, I was just scared,"

"Reset." Yoosung said suddenly, startling Mc. They looked up at him quickly, blinking stupidly.

"What? Reset? How could you possibly suggest that! I can't believe you! I love you, Yoosung! I can't do that to you...I can't hurt you like tha-" Yoosung once again cut them off with a kiss, though it was more passionate this time.

"Reset, Mc. I can tell you miss Seven. And you're never going to be truly happy with me. Seven will do that. So, reset."

Mc agreed eventually, and with tears streaming down their faces they said goodbye, and faded away from that world.

Le flashback end

Mc: Seven, wait! Yoosung told me to! Please just listen!

707: No.

707: Mc, even if I believed you I couldn't love you. I don't love you. So leave me be.

Seven quickly left the chat, and didn't come back for the rest of the day.

Back to the present

Mc groaned and went to leave the chat room when Seven logged in. Mc panicked and went to leave but he stopped her before she could.

707: Mc, wait!

Mc said nothing, but waited. They still cared for Seven, even if he was an absolute ass yesterday.

707: The silent treatment, eh?

707: I wanted to tell you something. I'm going to be gone...I don't know how long. So, I was hoping you'd say something...to give me courage.

Courage? Why would he need that?

707: Please just say something...anything.

707: Please, Mc...

707: I don't wanna go without someone's words to bring with me

Mc sighed. He seemed to be going somewhere important, so they would say something.

Mc: Goodbye, Seven.

And right before they logged out, Seven replied.

707: Thank you, Mc....goodbye
