**When you see ITIHYKOL that stand for It's That I Hate You Kind of Love**
I tapped my red converse impatiently on the dark hardwood floors, glancing at my phone. A minute? Only a minute has passed than I last checked? Stupid time.
"Bri." I called to on the other side of the changing room. "Bri, are you almost done? I'm bored!"
I heard the sound of a zipper, and a clattering hanger. "Quit your whining Lottie!" She laughed behind the pink locked door. "I only have one more to try on."
"Thank God." I mumbled, glancing again at my phone. I never should have become best friends with someone who shops like an alcoholic drinks when stuck in a wine cellar. I never really minded shopping...until now. If Stacy and Bailey saw me here, waiting in the changing room like a devoted boyfriend, they would laugh their asses off.
The door down the skinny pink hallway opened with a delicate creak. "Ta da!" Brianne shouted, throwing her hands in the air as she stepped out.
I gasped dramatically, my hand flying to my open mouth in mock surprise. "Whoa, Bri, you actually look like a girl!"
She frowned at me and sassily placed her hands on her hips. "Look who's talking Ms.- I-only-wear-dresses-to-weddings. Now, seriously Lottie, tell me what you think. Personally I'm in love!"
I gazed down at the long gold dress that stopped at her toes. It really was a pretty dress with strings of gold jumbled together and dissolving into white near the bottom. With some heels and a crown she would look like a princess.
I grinned. "It's beautiful Bri."
She clapped her hands gleefully and then rushed to me, pulling me into a small hug. "I'm so glad you like it! I'm definitely going to get it!"
I sighed in relief as she raced back to change yet again. Finally, I could go home, I'm starving! The only downside of going home was my mom, she is going to be so pissed. I told her I would be home an hour ago, and by the call I received, Mom wasn't happy.
I let out a pent up breath and nervously smoothed the blue material in my hands, I really did like this dress. I had to get a dress too, though I only tried on three while my annoying best friend had to try nearly every one in the store!
The Barbie pink door opened, revealing Brianne wearing her skinny jeans and a flowing flowery tank top. She grabbed my hand, dragging me to the cashier.
A moment later Brianne and I were checking out our dresses and released from the sweet perfumed store. I hurridly welcomed the food court smells, quickly becoming hungrier. "Hey, Brianne, can we go to the food court?" I pleaded. "We can get vanilla milk shakes."
Instantly her eyes brightened. "Hell yeah!" She roughly grabbed my arm, and together we raced to Billy's Shakes. Laughing and panting we ordered our shakes and hunted for a table. I moaned lightly at the cold vanilla, this drink was literally to die for.
Finding a small wooden table by a window, we sat down across from each other, relishing our drinks. It's safe to say we both have an obsession.
A small smile spread across my face as i tapped my fingers against the plastic cup. This was our thing, getting vanilla milkshakes when we come to the mall. Billy's Shakes had the best I ever tasted, but I only came with Brianne.
For a few minutes we sat in comfortable silence, listening to the sizzling of fried food and the many conversations.
"So," Bri said slowly, leaning forward with twinkling eyes. "What's happening in the fantastic life of Charlotte Wayland?"
