**When you see ITIHYKOL that stand for It's That I Hate You Kind of Love**

"Helloooo? Carson's mate person, are you awake? Hello?" There was a few muttered curses and then the sound of someone slapping themselves. "Ouch. Sorry, you probably don't speak English! I'm so stupid! Um, hola or uh bonjour, um is pig Latin a real language? Shoot, you can't understand what I just said. Bonjour?"

Groaning and rubbing the back of my sore neck, I sat up from where I had been curled asleep against the cursed door. "Go away." I grumbled, standing up and then flopping on the bed. Involuntarily I sighed, damn why did it have to be so comfy. After crying myself into subconsciousness I felt entirely drained and worn out. All I want to do is sleep or better yet go home and sleep in my own bed.

At the thought of my home and family I expected a tear that didn't come, I guess I ran out.

"Oh my gosh, you speak English and you're awake!" The girl from behind the door exclaimed. There was a small clatter before she burst through the door, grinning widely at me. "Hey, Carson's mate person!"

I sat up blinking at her. She kicked the door closed with a kick of her foot and immediately I was seized with a small fear. I am alone with a weird werewolf girl with no hope of defense. However, the girl seemed anything but scary. She had long straight blond hair, a heart shaped face, a short stature and had big blue eyes with long lashes. She continued smiling at me brightly, balancing a white tray in her hands.

"You know I have to say I'm glad you're a girl! Carson didn't say if you were a guy or a girl and I was saying to my brother that it would be weird if Car was gay because he doesn't seem gay, but you know if he was I would be fine with it, it's just I've known him for years and you think I would have known if he was gay!"

The girl laughed as she set the tray on my side table and then sat next to me, closer than was necessary. I shifted uncomfortably as she stared at me unblinking. She just kept grinning and held out her hand.

"Hi, I'm Emily Jakes and you're Carson's mate!" She grabbed my hand and pumped it twice enthusiastically. "Yeah, yeah I know I have the same last name as my brother, I knew you're a smart one! Zach's my brother by the way, you've met him, he has blond hair like me and blue eyes! People say we look kind of alike but I don't think so. I'd say I'm the prettier one! Carson said you were really beautiful and he's right, you two are so cute together!" She clapped her hands together gleefully. "You know I used to have a crush on Car, but that's done with, plus I'll probably find my mate soon and he'll be positively dreamy!" She sighed happily and then frowned.

"Hey, you don't look so great, have you been crying?"

I stared at her in awe and barely managed to nod. How could one little person speak so much so fast?

Emily held up a finger finally appearing to calm down. "I'll get you a wash cloth, I'm sorry..."

"Charlotte." I said quickly before she could interrupt.

She nodded. "I'm sorry Charlotte, but you look seriously puffy and red and also I'll look at that bruise for you." She pointed to the one left by Jay's hand. "Carson won't want to see that."

I stared in disbelief as she headed to the bathroom. One second she's blabbering on and the next she's completely serious and calm? What a weird girl. Stepping as quietly as possible I tiptoed to the door while she hummed in the bathroom, opening and closing drawers. I grinned as my hand touched the handle.

I'm about to be free.

Goodbye to those stupid werewolves! Goodbye Carson! Goodbye Jay! Goodbye Zach! Goodbye Emily! Hello Mom and Ben! Hello Stacy, John, Bailey, and Brianne!
