~Chapter Fifteen~
Everything was wrong when she woke up. First of all she had different, clean clothes on, her skin showed no signs of recent wounds, she could feel bandages covering her right eye and there was black hair tumbling over her shoulders.
She was back to normal.
She bolted upright, silk sheets falling down off her shoulders. She was still in the room she was brought to, just in a corner. Her body showed no signs of fatigue or soreness meaning she'd been out for at least a good twenty-four hours. Scrambling to her feet she looks around the room locating a small mirror hanging on the wall. Hurrying over she takes it down and pulls her fist back, punching it. Shards of glass fly out and she ignores the stinging pain that originates from her hands.
Carefully picking out two of the biggest pieces and setting those aside, she scoops the rest of the glass up and puts it in her pockets. Never know when a handful of broken shards would come in handy. Pushing the mirror under the cot she tears some fabric off of the sheets and wraps it tightly around the base of the glass pieces before tucking them into her orange sash. Glancing around she finds a solid looking metal plate and tucks that under her arm.
Taking careful steps forward she makes her way to the door keeping as quiet as humanly possible. A few shuffles and tired mumbles made it clear there were two guards standing outside the doors. One glances at the handles and she could tell it was locked, but not for long.
All it took was a little tinkering and the door swung open. "What th-" BAM! The guard slumped to the ground, a red imprint from the plate clear on his face. The other guard whirls around, BAM! and he too slumps to the ground.
"Whoops, I didn't see you there." She mutters dryly as she gags and ties the guards up, putting them in the room before shutting the door. She stealthily sneaks down the hallways, ducking into pockets of shadows every time a guard clomps by. A soft frown fixates on her face as she discovers that even though the genjutsu was shattered, her chakra still remained locked away well out of reach.
Closing her eyes she draws up the mental map she'd created of this place, making her was as swiftly as she could to the Holding Cell. Ten meters away from the grand doors she flattens herself against the grained wall as a shout echoes throughout the place.
"WHERE IS SHE?!" The furious shout of Judar made her cringe from the volume.
The guards stationed in front of the cell glance at each other before jogging away to locate Judar. Taking this as her opportunity she sprints to the giant doors and cracks her knuckles. "This is going to hurt like a bitch." She mutters taking a deep breath and drawing up any inkling of chakra she can.
She pulls back her arm before lunging forward and punching the door.
Crack.
She lets out a huff of irritation before lunging forward again.
CRACK!
"One last time." She mutters and takes a deep breath before sprinting forward and punching the door with as much strength as she can.
CRRRRACK! SMASH!
The door crumbles to the ground, large puffs of sand flying up from the impact. She vaults into the cell scanning over the confused and scared glances of the occupants, her gaze settling on Zero. She smirks and rests a hand on her hip. "Well Ja'far? Aren't you ready?" His eyes widen as he takes in her new appearance before smirking back wickedly. He straightens up and tosses her the katanas, drawing out his own sword as he stalks over with confidence oozing from him.
