It was a spectacle that many had ventured outside to see, the sun being turned black for a mere minute. Very few could remember the last time this had happened, and those that did locked their doors. They remembered what used to go on in a place said to have been hidden in this land, the ceremony that could change an average warrior into something... more.

They had heard rumors of the woman known as the Destroyer escaping from prison, though she might of been killed in that very explosion that designated the entire place. It didn't matter that much, they knew that the society could very well be making a reappearance which only meant one thing...

Septor Eight had risen again.

***

The two young women stood facing eachother in the underground room, torches lined against the walls to give fleeting light. The air had a stale taste to it, the walls a dark grey. A black book was held out by the woman with purple hair, her silver eyes glimmering as the girl with hair as black as the night placed her left hand on it.

"I, Yuki Ookami, hereby pledge myself to the Lunar Society until the end of my days. I will use my eyes to see all that happens, my words to unravel my foes, my ears to hear every secret, my hands to destroy my enemies. I will do everything in my power to crush those that block my path. For me there is only the absolute mission, and I will forsake all ties that I must to complete our ultimate goal. I shall leave no trace behind, for I shall follow our mantra. I will leave nothing behind to show I was there.

For I am a warrior of the maelstroms, a guardian of the storms and no one can stop me now."

A silver light travels from the woman's forearm, spiraling into the book and curling up the girl's forearm. Her spine stiffens slightly as a stinging pain forms on on her left forearm, a silver marking appearing on her wrist. It is of a crescent moon with a tribal design underneath, twisting and humming with energy. The two looks at each other, identical smirks curling on their lips as they crossed forearms, their markings overlapping.

"No blood. No bone. No ash."

Their hi-ate's glint in the flickering light of the torches lighting up the claw marks engraved on the metal, silver mist creeping along the body of the older girl while lighting sparked all over the body of the young girl.

Separate they were powerful, but had their own flaws and made mistakes. Together they were unstoppable, a force to be reckoned with as the shinobi world would soon find out.

I know I said I wouldn't start until this weekend, but let's face it. This story, and the Storm Bringer, are both my babies and I'm super excited for you guys to read this one!

I made the cover myself, the artwork does not belong to me though it was made for me :)

The image is what the marking looks like! First chapter will be up on the weekend!
