~Chapter Twenty-Four~

Any signs of the previous relaxed, barely radiating any threat, girl was gone within an instant. Chakra unfurled around her in rapid waves, cracks appearing in the floor beneath her feet. Electricity raced along her skin and her sharpened teeth are bared with every intent of destroying the summit brick by brick to find her prey visible.

The words Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned raced across the minds of everyone present to see just how furious Winter was.

Fists clenched and veins racing along her forearms, the clouds overhead churned. White Zetsu was gasping for air whilst still managing to laugh hysterically. "Tell me where he is!" She roared, the floor starting to give way under her feet from the sheer amount of chakra emitting from her body. "Are you angry?" White Zetsu cackled before choking as the teenager tightened her grip, her fingernails digging into his neck.

"I am ready to burn this world down if it means Sasuke Uchiha will turn to ashes in the inferno."

The Raikage studied the girl with narrowed eyes. He would've thought that most Leaf Ninjas would want to protect the rogue Uchiha after seeing the boy name Naruto plead with him to spare Sasuke's life. But looking at the pure, raw rage visible throughout Winter, made him want to smile. It looked as if there was someone out there who wanted to kill Sasuke as much as he did... if not more.

"F-Fine I'll tell you where he is." The strangled voice of White Zetsu sounded out, Winter dropping him to the ground as soon as he recited the exact placing of the ninja. Bit by bit her stance relaxed; her shoulders loosened, her hair drifted back down, the chakra faded away rapidly and her hands hung loosely at her side.

She turned on her heel, her hair whipping around as she strode towards the door. She seemed to be... calm. Completely and perfect calm. Or least she did until the Five Kages and their bodyguards caught a glimpse of the hurricane in her eye.

One by one the samurai were slaughtered as the black haired male sliced through them with ease. His three teammates peered down from above, the red haired female shivering as she felt something brush at the edges of her senses. It was cold, unyielding and was gone as quickly as it appeared. Her eyebrows furrowed as she felt it once more, then again and again, each time the length between the small spurts growing shorter. She wouldn't dare call this chakra, it was too hard, too blank, to be a source of chakra. Her fingers dug into the soft fabric of her shirt as she felt it again, except this time it didn't vanish and it only grew worse. It was a like a bucket of frigid water was dumped onto her before she was lit ablaze.

Her mouth dropped slightly. "No... no that's not possible..." Her teammates glanced at her, two different levels of confusion on their face. "This... this feeling is supposed to be a myth."

"There is nothing stronger in this world than the bond of anger, regret and vengeance all wrapped into one. If you ever discover this feeling is tangible don't even bother trying to fight, just run and hope you're fast enough to get away. But even then they'll find you... so I hope you have no regrets.

After all this is the feeling of someone who fell down into deepest, darkest pit of Hell, and thrived there."

The only warning was a light shift in the air before the sound of metal grating on metal sounded out. Dust settled and red eyes stared into the growing storm of another, both face's perfectly void of emotion. The air grew heavy and then the soft drip of a single drop of blood fell onto the floor, the sound seeming to resonate across the room. Two figures stood less than ten feet away from each other, each having their katana's in their hands.
