{Chapter 2}
I stood in front of the mirror for a second or two, staring at my body.
It really was gorgeous actually. I'm not even going to lie. I have the body that would put any Victoria's Secret model to shame. I was perfect from neck to toes. Except for my scars.
This is when everyone backs away from me. They scream inside, "What a monster!". I know. I know. But it's alright, I already know people will leave me for it. They already have. But it was my past. I'm good now. I've been clean for seventeen months and have never been more proud.
So I stood there, observing my placid body. I don't regret what I did, but I keep it covered.
I slipped on my jeans and inconspicuous autumn boots. Though it was 65 degrees out, I didn't want to scare people away. I guess that is considerate?
I hopped out of the door and into my grand am. I worked all summer for it, and with the help of my family paid for it. This was my pride and joy. I drove to my new school; Pine Ashes High.
Parking, I took a deep breath and looked in my mirror. This. Is. It.
I climbed out of my car and walked through the front doors and hung my bag in my locker. This school was much larger than my old one. I looked around, pushing the magenta hair out of my eyes just as Rayle had. I sat down in my first hour and thought about my third last night. It was so beautiful. So... Real.
"Hello class! This morning is going to be wonderful in an English class!"
Major groans came from the class surrounding me.
"Hey now! You need to get excited! We have a new student! Per-sep-honnie?" She said questionably.
"It's Persephone." I said, being snapped out of my dream-like state. My name had been used often in literature. I'd figured she'd know how to pronounce my name.
"Ah, yes, well alright then."

I dozed off after dinner. I had an alright day at school and had received several compliments on my outfit. It was close to my usual bed time, so I'd decided just to go to bed.

Flying was always fun in my dreams. I flew around a little and landed on a lily pad. I saw my reflection in the moon-lit water. I was a sprite. I slowly turned around, revealing all aspects of my tiny body. I was such a pretty little thing. My dress was the same magenta color as my hair and sparkled when I twirled side to side. I hopped around a little and then took flight.
I flew around until my wings gave out. I landed in what seemed to be my house. I walked around a little. Suddenly the room started to glow. I peered out the window to see a rising sun peeking above the skyline which was awe-inspiring. My tiny figure slowly walked over to what I assumed to be my bed and fell asleep.

My alarm woke me up the next morning. Good. I only have one dream left until I see Rayle. If I took a nap today, then tonight I could see him and sleep in late since today is Friday. The dream would be long as well. I'd already had my day planned by 7:04 a.m.
