Mia's POV.

I woke up extra early today as it was my first day of classes and I wanted to make sure that I was prepared. For my main subject I had taken MA Music: Open Pathway with Performance. I always enjoyed singing and playing guitar and I thought why not make a career out of it. I know most people don't understand why you would go to University to learn how to sing when you could just go on some stupid show like 'The X Factor', but I want to actually learn beyond just the singing. I want to learn about the industry and the business side of music. That way, if I don't become a singer, I can at least be a manager or something.

I decided to dress in my black skinny jeans with my maroon sweater and my black high top converse. I straightened my long brown hair and let it fall down my back. I applied a little bit of make-up and then grabbed my coat and bag, heading off to get coffee before my first class, which started in half an hour.

It was a little chilly outside today again. I mean, it was September so I think that may be why. Winter is coming. I zipped my coat up higher to hide my chin from the cool wind whipping around my face. My nose and cheeks must have been red by now due to this wind.

I stepped into the coffee shop that me and the boys went to the other day and headed towards that counter. I noticed a familiar head of black hair and instantly knew that it was Michael, stood next to him was Luke.

"Hey guys" I greeted, hugging Michael. He wrapped his arms around me tightly, resting his head on top of my head.

"Morning Mimo" Michael muttered, his voice still sleepy.

"Mimo?" I questioned, removing my head from his chest to look up at him with a confused look.

"Oh, that's my new nickname for you" he chuckled pulling me back in for another hug.

"You're a little weirdo Mikey" I laughed.

"I love when you call me Mikey" he smiled down at me. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Anyway, what class are you guys starting today then?" I asked, still clinging to Michael. I was yet to even glance at Luke.

"MA Music: Open Pathway with Performance" Michael told me making my eyes go wide.

"Oh my God, me too!" I said excitedly, beaming up at Michael.

"Great" I heard Luke mumble but I chose to ignore it.

"You can sit with us and we can write songs together and sing together and, and, and we could be a band!" Michael squealed like a teenage girl. It made me giggle to see him this excited.

"God Michael, chill" Luke rolled his eyes and began to walk out of the coffee shop.

"I'll walk with you, just let me get my hot chocolate" I started walking towards the counter to get my hot chocolate. Michael followed behind me, leaving Luke to walk on his own.

Once I had got my drink, Michael and I walked to our class while constantly pushing and teasing each other.

When we arrived at our class room we took our seats by Luke at the back of the class. I was sat in between both of them, which was slightly awkward. I took my book out of my bag and placed my bag on the floor.

The lecturer came in moments later. She was a middle aged woman with curly blonde hair and big blue eyes. She was kind of tall, or maybe it was her high heels, I don't know and she was quiet petite. For an older woman she was attractive.

"Fuck me, she's hot" Michael whispered to me, eyeing the teacher up and down. I kicked him under the table to tell him to stop, of course he didn't. "by the end of this year I want to have banged her on her desk" he whispered to me again. Why did he think I wanted to hear that?
